My wife and I have been going to Village Animal Clinic since they were in Maplewood. Drs. Middleton and Merriweather are skilled, caring doctors, which is abundantly clear whenever you're there. We've entrusted our cats to their care for everything from checkups to internal medicine issues - temperature-taking all the way to surgery.

The office staff are wonderful and knowledgable, and it's clear that they care about animals as much as the animals' families do. I've been able to ask questions and get answers from Annie and the staff if I've needed them right

Great husband & wife team. Waits can be long and practice can be busy with lots of dogs. I normally like the first appointment or the last! Affordable, honest vet.

I took my elderly cat there for the first time, as I just moved nearby, because he had a claw that was growing into his pad. The dr's were okay, but I found them to be extremely scattered. The exam room was not equipped with gauze pads or paper towels, they had to leave the room three times to get supplies. My cat was completely freaked out, like many of them are and the in and out and in and out did not give me comfort. One doctor started the exam and another dr finished it. I found it to be a bit half baked of an operation. While i was there a dog pooped in the waiting room and the receptionist

I took my cat to Village Animal Clinic for the first time; she had injured one of her front legs and needed an examination. I was greeted warmly and the vet tech took my cat into the exam room; within minutes she and my cat were good friends. She was very affectionate and comforting with her; she made her feel very safe.

Dr. Middleton was just as gentle and caring with my cat; he examined her very thoroughly. He explained all the possible causes of her limping and the appropriate treatments for each one.

Thankfully my cat was not badly injured and I did not need to spend a great deal of money

Drs. Middleton & Merriwether are kind, knowledgeable and the prices are not just reasonable but inexpensive. They give advice over the phone and don't give typical upcharges that too many veterinarians use to prey upon pet owners emotions. This formula must be working because I came on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was about packed. Rere was seen about 10 minutes after her appointment because the Shitzu before her came in a little late. The atmosphere is so friendly and since everyone was fawning over my dog anyway, I didn't mind. I like this place, recommend it and it's

Annie, Dr. Middleton & Dr. Merriwether are the best! they all really about animals! Very reasonable....I called with an emergency and Annie got us in right away, and he had the cherry eye tacking a day later, very accommodating. I highly recommend it. I bring both my dogs here.
