HIDDEN GEM ALERT. This place is amazing. The staff were so friendly and walked me through nearly every bakery item.
We landed on a couple loaves of bread, bread pudding, guava and cheese pastries, apple turnover, pineapple turnover, and a quesito. All were amazing -- crispy, great balance of flavor, and pretty large portions! You can't beat the price either.
I immediately told friends and family about how wonderful this place is. Seems like a great place to load up on fresh treats before hosting company or a brunch!
We'll be back. Can't wait to try their breakfast or lunch.

I've since been back many times over the last few years and they never disappoint.
Some highlights: The medianoche, tripletta, and steak sandwiches are by far my favorite. But the bacon, egg, and cheese is really good too, and so is their conch sandwich. Don't miss out on the baked-in-house pan de bonos and quesitos.
It's *all* good.

We got a catered lunch from here today. The Cuban sandwich was soooo good! The bread was amazing, lightly toasted with the ham pork cheese and pickles! I may have eaten 3 pieces cause they were so good! The empanadas were filled with beef and came with a great sauce. They had a ton of other foods that tasted great and fresh but I don't know what was ordered. That little fruit tart with the custard and edible cup though... YES! Yes! Great spot and convenient location

Great smells, and great food. I stopped by for lunch and got the Cubano, and I am glad to say it was delicious. Absolutely packed with meat and well toasted, it was definitely worth it. The only thing I would've done different is ask for extra pickles next time, but I would be glad to come again and try something new!

Valisa bakery is a neat and tucked away little gem off Semoran Blvd. This quick stop would be appreciated by someone who wants to get a slice of home at a Puerto Rican bakery. Very authentic feel to the bakery with a vast variety of pastries, savory treats and breakfast options. We've been regulars here since we live only 5 minutes away, so in a pinch this is such a great breakfast option for just a nice "home-cooked" feeling breakfast.
The pastries are really true to how they're made back in Puerto Rico, my favorite being the quesito!
It is very fast, ordering takeout they

Well my friends, as most everyone knows hurricane María did a number on Puerto Rico. Things are getting better in my beautiful Atlantic Ocean paradise Island.
On the positive side, you can save the thousand plus dollars to travel to PR when you are feeling blue and want some real home-cooked PR meals. This place is fresh, clean, relaxing, and the owner is just as sweet as she can be.
We had breakfast this morning. Although the choices are very traditional, there are plenary of other choices; it was 10:00am and lunch was already to go!
The prices are very reasonable, the portions were ample,

Great bakery and café with good food at inexpensive pricing. Stepping into the shop was like discovering a little pocket of Miami off the side of 436, in the middle of Orlando.
They serve breakfast all day, at sizable portions and unbelievable cheap pricing (most under $6). Also freshly squeezed orange juice! They also serve pastelitos, croquettas, and other bakery sweets that looked delicious. Hot food and sandwiches as well.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and speak both English and Spanish. There is a large seating area with plenty of large tables and booths. If you choose to dine

Stopped by today for lunch. The staff here is very friendly and helpful in explaining the lunch specials. Today they offer a quarter roaster chicken, potato salad, rice and beans. The chicken was well seasoned and absolutely delicious. The potato salad too was very tasty. The rice and beans combination is to die for. Washed it all down with grape soda.
This place is a total home run. Delicious food and I even took home dessert. I'll be back with my friends.

Wow, what a great place! I've been wanting to check it out for months, since they opened, and I specifically wanted to try their mofungo. It's been a mission of mine to find good mofungo in town since a recent trip to Puerto Rico.
I was running late and didn't leave myself enough time or order the mofungo this time (takes 15-20 min as it's prepared fresh to order) so I got a tripleta sandwich per the recommendation of the lady behind the counter. I also got a fried dough filled with cheese (can't remember the name) at her recommendation and a sweet treat. Everything pretty
