Smile Explorers Pediatric Dentistry believes that working as a team with parents and children will create the best dental experience for every child. At each visit, we'll meet with you to discuss your child's recent oral health and answer any questions you or the child may have. We take the time to explain the benefits of early treatment and the importance of preventative dentistry.
At Smile Explorers Pediatric Dentistry, we follow the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics regarding a child's first visit to the dentist: This should be scheduled when their first tooth appears or before their first birthday.

We have been using Smile explorers for the last 3 years and we always have a positive experience. Front desk staff is kind and attentive, we never have a long wait. I’m always able to schedule all my kiddos at the same time to knock it all out. I’m always given informed Consent and my children are always happy to see the dentist, he is so kind! I have nothing but great things to say!

I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic. Dr. Dave is highly skilled to care for little kids, very passionate to teach his patient about dental hygiene and always seeks excellence. The clinic has beautiful themes exam rooms and Disney+ shows, my son enjoys his treatment and always wants to go back.If you seek excellent pediatric dentistry practice and if your child has difficulty to accept dental treatment, then dr. Really amazing set up. My son loved all the things to look at. But the real prize is the staff. They were kind and caring to him and me. They called us back on time, we didn't wait long for the DDS to come in, and he made is quick and painless for my son. And during his apt I was watching the support staff, clearly very knowledgeable and in complete sync with the dds.

I really like Dr. Dave (pronounced Dahveh). I appreciate professionals who are detailed in their explanations and he is one like that. I took two teens who like to be more independent. One has some issues that can be fixed with flossing and Dr. Dave was willing to talk right to her. Unfortunately, even though we were early, the hygienist called us back late for my second daughter's appointment and we were late to pick up other kids from school. Dr. Dave apologized and said he would look into why that happened.

Our experience at Smile Explorers could not have been better. All of my young children were seen for a routine examination and cleaning on the same day, which is something most other offices will not allow. We were taken back right away upon arrival. The facilities are nice, clean, and kid friendly! My kids loved laying on the surf board examination tables while watching a show during the cleaning. The staff is extremely friendly and works hard to make sure the kids are comfortable and really love coming to the dentist. The dentist communicated clearly with me about what he observed and anticipated

Sweetest staff and Dr. Dave! My 1 year old son had oral sedation for a filling on his front tooth. Dr. Dave was very informative and sweet to my son. This place has a welcoming atmosphere to those kids that probably don’t like visiting the dentist. Dr. Dave also took the time to follow up a few hours later the same day we had our appointment to see how we were doing.
I would recommend this place to anyone with kids!

This office is amazing. I am thoroughly impressed at the level of customer service they provide and how they go the extra mile for not only for the kids but for the parents. My daughter just had her tongue tie corrected and they were phenomenal at how they eased my nerves as a parent and had my daughter so comfortable during the time we walked in the door to the time we left. Highly recommend!

Loved the place! I took my 2 year old daughter February 9th for her first dentist appointment. She absolutely loved it, the doctor and his assistant were wonderful, friendly and fast. My daughter Sophia loved… it so much she didn't want to leave. Thank you very much for such pleasant experience, we look forward to seeing you again.

My youngest son has had 2 open heart surgeries leaving him with Medical Anxiety and the experience here absolutely washed away his fears. Both boys (ages 6/12) said this was the most comfortable dental appointment. They did everything in their power to engage the boys, explain the tools, speak to them directly as well as to me. I appreciate Dr Dave and his team so much!

THEY ARE THE WORST! I CALLED AND ASKED THEM IF THEY ACCEPT CLIENTS WITH NO INSURANCE. THEY SAID YES. WHEN WE GOT THERE THE ASSISTANT ASKED IF WE WERE GETTING INSURANCE ANY TIME SOON. I SAID NO. THE ASSISTANT AND THE LADY DOCTOR ROLLED THEIR EYES. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! THE ASSISTANT ACTED LIKE SHE DIDN'T EVEN LIKE KIDS. THEY LEFT US SIT IN THE BACK… WELL OVER A HALF HOUR TO SCHEDULE OUR NEXT APPOINTMENT. ONLY TO TELL US THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY OPENINGS TILL NEXT YEAR TO PULL MY SON'S TOOTH. MEANWHILE HE HAS A HOLE IN HIS TOOTH AND CAN'T CHEW ON THAT SIDE! THEY ARE TERRIBLE! TAKE YOUR KIDS

Staff was great but the dentist who treated my daughter annoyed me with his questions. I was expecting them but I was hoping they wouldn't come. (The judgy ones: do you give your child lots of juice or milk at night?) no I do not. I want to bring my daughter back to see how she does one more time and how he interacts with us and go from there.

Dr. Dave was incredible with our 12 month old daughter. Office and staff were welcoming and so nice. Front desk nurse asked what our daughter liked to watch on tv and put Coco on for her with made her feel right at home. They made check in process so easy and really gave us a great first impression! Dr. Dave showed us how to properly brush and care for our daughter's teeth. He went into details and explained questions we had. He was both personal and professional. Of course she cried when Dr. Dave was cleaning her teeth and checking her but he did an excellent job handling a squirmy toddler

Dr. Dave is the dentist all of us wish we had as children...! As a New mother, with my own exhausted span of anxiety for dentists I had no idea what to expect. Dr. Dave literally talked so so sweet to my son the whole time, and made sure he was absolutely comfortable with the experience. The appointment followed with a sword balloon, and a coin for the toy machine.. He gave us insightful information on buildup on the back of my son's tongue, and how to distract him in order to brush it. I am SO thrilled my son will likely not have the same fear as I did growing up due to The comfort of this

They were absolutely fantastic!! Been here twice so far and I was impressed both times. From getting an appointment to the actual visit you can feel the care, I mean the lady was considering whether my kid still took naps and didn't want to disrupt his nap time. We were getting extractions done and the Dr was great. I have a hard time with my lil one cos he hates going to the Dr and always makes a fuss. So add his behavior to need a shot in his gums and you can have an idea of what the Dr was dealing with. Will definitely recommend them.

Brought my son in at 1 year old for his 1st dentist check up and to start getting him/us to brushing his teeth and learning about baby dental care. He's now 2 and we visited yesterday for his 2nd visit. The Dentist warned us about the shaping of the pallet from the good ol' Binky and we're now going to ween him off. The staff at Smile Explorers are super friendly and talented! They gave him a gold coin for his dental visit that he used to purchase a bouncing ball from the machine in the front office and created a sword from a balloon which he loved. What a great office! Friendly staff! My 3 year old son came for his first visit to a dentist and had a very positive experience. He was given a tablet in the waiting room by the staff so he could play games and stay occupied. Then, he got to take pictures of his teeth and the staff was very patient with him. He got to wear cool sunglasses while they cleaned his teeth so the bright exam light wouldn't bother him. He got to pick a cool prize when he was all done.
