Jennifer had terrifed customer service. We have used A-1 for years until now. My husband explained how to use tow hook for his Audi. Jennifer told him that you can only use it once, as an audi tech there is no where in the literature it states that. He told her to avoid control arm damage but she said that using the straps its the only way to tow.… I’m not trying to tell someone how to do their job but it’s more avoiding a future problem. My husband asked her if there was insurance if a control arm was damaged during the tow and Jennifer said this conversation is over and hung

These guys were great, referred by USAA roadside, on time, on target, showed up early , very helpful getting my vehicle towed to a trusted mechanic
I don't get the deal with all the negative reviews on here, people need to take a Xanax and try having a little patience, being a tow truck driver is a very hard, dangerous, and UNAPPRECIATED job. When these guys are out working the highways they're literally putting their lives on the line.
Everyone on here, please take the negative reviews with a grain of salt , A-1 towing was very helpful in a pinch and also thanks to USAA auto

Joel is very punctual, courteous, and knowledgable. Patty in the office is very pleasant. I highly recommend A-1 for fast, reliable service.
The very next day after My daughter was broken down on Delsea Drive. Luckily Jason, who was off duty, came by and pulled her out of traffic. He told us he works for A-1. We then had Ivan as the tow driver who was just as awesome. Can't speak highly enough of the A-1 and their employees on and off duty!

Jake arrived within 20 minutes of my roadside assistance call! He was courteous, personable and efficient with changing my spare on my pickup truck! Tire blew on way to Sea Isle right before Exit 24 (Millville). 4 kids in the car under 7... called Progressive roadside assistance and they sent A-1. They were there in less than ten minutes! Guy they sent (don't know his name) was great with the kids and was very polite. We were back up and running in less than 10 minutes.
If you ever get stuck by the end of Rte 55 call this place!

I had to call Roadside after discovering a nail in my tire when I was about to leave work. I was in New Jersey and two other occasions they sent SETi. Being out of state, I wasn't sure who would respond. The response time was approximately an hour. When they arrived in a rollback, my initial impression was good. That changed. I asked if Gio, the technician that responded, could plug my tire. No, they don't do that. So, okay, just change the tire. After it was changed, the donut tire needed air. I asked Gio to inflate the spare. Now, I have a Jeep with a lift kit and was nervous to begin

The worse service ever. I called Honda road service and was given A 1 towing. I told Honda I just needed a tire change not a tow , as my tire was flat. They assigned me anyhow to A 1 towing. I waited two and a half hours and no one showed up. I called A1 only to be told It was strictly a tow and that a wrong ticket was put thru . When I told A 1 that I was waiting over two hours she told me It was not that long and hung up on me.
I was repeatedly asked if I was in a safe area by Honda Luckily I was home and my flat tire was in my driveway. I would never count on A1 to get me out of an unsafe

3 and a half hours waiting for nothing.
My road assistance picked A1 towing for my broken down car and the initial estimate was 50-70 minutes. After 80 minutes I called A1 to check the status to be told there's a delay and it would be another 30 minutes. I called every 20-30 minutes since to be told the same story, it would only be 20 minutes more.
Each time I'm told the driver is almost here, then they are in traffic, or stuck behind and accident. However, there were no traffic jams anywhere in the area according to a traffic app. I called my road assistance to see what they can

Hmmm, let's start with the fact that they left my windshield on my luxury car CRACKED and SHATTERED after being towed and DENIED responsibility. No release form was signed by me either. The so called "supervisor" Jennifer was extremely rude and unprofessional.. Voice cracking and she was stuttering on the phone because she knew they were wrong!! Will be seeking legal action. Please seek my advice and go somewhere else!! DO NOT trust this company!!

HORRIBLE!! My husband's SUV wouldn't start at our local mall. Yesterday's weather was 12 degrees. It took them 3 1/2 hours to finally tow him and that was after he called them twice and me once! Their response? If we would stop getting calls to impound cars we would be able to get to our customers....REALLY???
