My passion for makeup artistry began in 2009, when a friend approached me to assist her sister (who was in the industry) with makeup. I remember walking into her studio, expecting to meet her and go over what she had planned for me. Little did I know, as soon as I walked in to greet her, she asked me to grab a client and start working.
From that point on, I started a whole new love affair for makeup. I was born and raised in the Orange County, where I am still located today. I am licensed as a Professional Makeup Artist. I am gifted with the ability to create beauty and art. My career began when I started working with Bang Trinh in 2009.

It was mine and my daughter's first time getting our hair and makeup done with Cherry. She was so sweet and had such a great bubbly personality. I wanted to do a boudoir shoot for my husband as part of his wedding gift and came across Cherry's work and decided to book a boudoir session. She is extremely talented in makeup, hair and photography. She's small but mighty! Lol she's professional and such a sweetheart and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. What can I say about Cherry but pure awesomeness! She did my makeup years ago so I decided to contact her again to do hair and makeup for a friends wedding. I didn't want to think about hair or makeup and knew Cherry was my go to girl. Her makeup techniques are on point and her eyebrows are amazing! I was able to go to 105 degree wedding in the desert and still maintain my makeup. She's super sweet and easy to talk to. Hair and makeup took almost 2 hours but goes by really fast. Her price is very reasonable for her talent. She loves what she does and it shows. She is a true artist! Thanks

I've used cherry sessions for years . She's done all my special events make up for weddings, maternity shoot, family photos etc. this year was extra special and she even took our family photos and we received so many compliments. Cherry is one of the best MUA and Photographer in OC for Pinup! I went to her for my 29th birthday photos and she made me look amazing. I came in with really messed up eyebrows(LOL) but she took care of me and got them back on point for my pictures. She definitely takes her time and listens to what you vision is and then she brings it to life. I was a bit insecure going into this because I'm in the middle of a body transformation. But O.M.G! the complements I've been receiving has been amazing! Cherry definitely made me feel super beautiful and comfortable during the shoot! The end result

Thanks to Cherry for making me feel truly beautiful for maybe the first time in my life. I got married last month and I have always been self conscious about my looks so wedding makeup and hair were very important to me. I am a shy person and the thought of having all eyes on me made me very nervous. I love the class I took because it was a small class and she team up w her friend who does hair to include educating us about hair braids. She specializes in Asian features. If you're unsure what brushes are for what she will educate you what brushes are for what. She can also meet up with you at Sephora to look at products. She's friendly and down to earth. I love the benefit porefessional, inglot eye liner, duo glue lashes, etc

Just the thought of coming to Cherry's studio had me excited for weeks, and her work definitely lived up to my expectations! I went this past Saturday for prom makeup, and not only was she open to my suggestions (my dress was plenty colorful), she was so inventive with my look. I've had the absolute honor to have been on the receiving end of Cherry's magical wand wielding ways several times now, and every single time ends with my stunned speechless self in absolute awe of the transformations she's capable of doing. I have worked with cherry on 2 amazing projects. My companies vintage photo shoot and an amazing fashion show for my collection. Cherry brought my looks to life with her amazing makeup and hair skills. I am consitsenly impressed with her work. And her "we got this" attitude that Guided me through both projects. Had the pleasure of working with Cherry, the owner of Sessions Makeup, on my family Christmas cards! Not only did she take our photos but she also personally styled my hair and makeup. She put on more than my daily wear but still kept me feeling pretty and natural! Very directive as well as creative with the setting and props used for our shoot. She really captured some close up one on one moments with just mom and son as well as with dad too. Reasonable pricing and I received all my photos in less than a week! Perfect timing to send out for Christmas. Will definitely book her again!
