Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Brian Wasser started Electric Events DC after his Bar Mitzvah, literally using his gift money to purchase speakers, a mixer and some DC lights. Nearly 15 years later, he and business partner, Geoff Sockol, have revolutionized high-energy entertainment.

Electric events and their entire team were amazing. We hired them to DJ my son's Bar Mitzvah (and they provided the photo booth as well). Todd, the MC, as well as the DJ and two dancers were incredible. They truly made the party. They are true professionals and know exactly what they are doing every step of the way. If you want a successful event, just hire Electric Events. Okay -- that might be a bit of an overstatement but not much. Their staff have that certain something that brings the party alive, even when attendees want to sit in the corner. On top of the positive energy, we've used them for two major events and experienced nothing but professionalism and excellent service across the entire planning process. On time, creative, helpful. Worth every cent.

Brian + EE team were the best! Not only did they make all my fairy light dreams come true, but they did a site visit with us and helped us create the idea around our ceremony. Our day wouldn't have been as magical as it was without Electric Entertainment's decor! They also were incredibly flexible around set-up time and all our changes due to the pandemic. Definitely recommend them as a high-class and professional (and responsive!) vendor.

Chris was SUPERB! He rocked down the house at our wedding reception. He was a Major part of our unforgettable evening. He received many great remarks from our friends & family. He kept people dancing from start to finish. Some of our extended family wanted to leave early, but stayed until the end because they were having so much fun dancing. DJ Bob and MC Elijah provided the BEST performance at Washington Liberty's High School Homecoming Dance! They knew exactly what teenagers wanted to hear and how to work the crowd. Everyone was dancing, bopping, jumping all night. I was amazed with the company's professionalism starting with excellent communication with Geoff from the beginning, and set up before and during the event. I heard so many positive comments from students, parents and teachers alike and thanks to Electric Events DC this year's Homecoming is being recognized as one of the best one ever! Thank you!!!!

We had a fantastic experience with Brian and Electric Events DC for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah and were thrilled with the results. They were super creative, gave us great ideas within our budget, did not pressure us, and were fantastic to work with. The event came out better than I could have ever imagined! Our daughter's bat mitzvah was in Oct 2020. We had planned to have a big party, but when the pandemic hit, we weren't sure how exactly to celebrate this milestone event. Eventually, we decided to hold an outdoor tented dinner for just close family. We still wanted to make it special and memorable, so we focused on decor.
