Although I am a pirate, princess shows are no problem. Looking for a Wizard/Harry Potter type party, no problem as well. The kids will actually make up and cast their own spells to do the magic. I have my Masters in Child Psychology, so I use this skill to make the party enjoyable for every child in attendance no matter their age or gender.

My name is Marc and I am 45 years old. I have been entertaining and making children smile for over 27 years. I started my career in 1992 at a place called "Once Upon A Birthday." I was 16 at that time. At Once Upon a Birthday I would dress up as a pirate and perform magic and tell stories to children of all ages.
In addition to the cool music, I have a wonderful variety of tattoos, over 500 different choices, from Batman to Moana, Pirates to Dinosaurs, Paw Patrol to Rainbow Unicorns and many more! The great thing about my tattoos, that you don't get with balloon twisters or face painters, is the children will not have to wait in line at all.
Don't clown around when it comes to your company's picnic or corporate event, let Pirate Magic make it a party to remember! All picnic/corporate performances vary from 70 minutes to 90 minutes long, depending on the package you choose. All shows include a fully interactive magic show, with lots of awesome gifts for the children.

Pirate Silly Bones was wonderful. He was easy to plan with. He showed up early to set up. He knew my kids names and was wonderful with all the kids. He brought countless tattoos, treasures and candy. He also provided goody bags. He created a schedule and kept the kids entertained the entire time-including a magic show and limbo contest. I also like that he emphasized that he was a nice pirate and encouraged the kids to say please and thank you by making them the magic words. Pirate Magic Saves the Day! Not only was he available at a last minute request for my daughters 7th birthday but he was also in excellent form and spirits the minute he stepped into our home. He engaged my daughters and their birthday guests seamlessly. Captain Silly Bones entertained my 5-year old and almost 20 of her friends for 2 hours for her birthday! He made her (and her little sister) feel so special on her birthday. If you want someone who will keep the kids entertained while the adults can sit back, relax and enjoy some conversation - Capt. Silly Bones is your pirate! It was the easiest party that we've had so far. The kids enjoyed everything - tattoos, storytelling, magic, limbo, dancing, singing and awesome gift bags! Capt. Silly Bones is highly energetic and keeps the kids engaged the whole time. The kids and adults had a great time and mom & dad weren't running around like crazy during the party. This guy is the real deal. My son was turning 5 and he and all of his friends had an unbelievable time! I would highly, highly recommend him for any event, even girls. He also followed up with cute little gifts for all four of my children. ALL of the kids were comepletely entertained even having the parents laughing. His prices were very reasonable and made having a party at home so easy.

I signed up to Yelp to review Captian Sillybones, since we hired him based on the yelp reviews we read, I figured we should give back to the community. He came to our house in NW DC, arriving 20 minutes early (our nanny saw his car) but not coming in until the time we had agreed upon, which was helpful since we were finishing up organizing the house.
He was amazing--super friendly and helpful. We had him for our daughter's 6 year old birthday party, with about 18 of her classmates + 5 siblings, and he managed extraordinarily well.

Our party this weekend was a great success thanks to Captain Silly Bones. Marc made the whole process simple from start to finish. This was a great relief to me, having worked with entertainers in the past that were less than professional. When he says he's cultivated best practices from years of experience, he means it. From the beginning he breaks the ice with the birthday boy/girl with a special present. What a party! Mark was FABULOUS! He kept a group of 20 kids (ages 2 to 6) mesmerizied for 90 minutes. Quite a feat! He was engaging, fun, funny and put on an awesome show. Even stayed to help with pizza and sing happy birthday to the birthday girl. My daughter felt so special. I have even passed along his information to other partygoers and the party was yesterday! Captain Silly Bones just did my daughters' 4 year old birthday party and man are we now the hit of the neighborhood. Awesome show- the kids were completely involved and the parents even loved every minute watching them have fun. Tons of participation and involvement and non stop entertainment. All she keeps saying is that was the best birthday EVER. This will go down in the records books for coolest party. Marc is the man for sure. Can't say enough.

Captain Silly Bones was awesome. (Thank you Tim for your YELP review--that's how I found him.) He ran the whole party for our 7 yr old son and about 25 guests. Everyone loved it. He is highly entertaining and high energy, but had total control in a very cool way that the kids responded to. Boy, girl, young, old (babies to adolescents) all felt involved and had fun. Our son is very reserved and NEVER likes to be the center of attention or participate. I clued the captain in ahead of time, and he was perfect. Marc Schack, aka Captain Silly Bones rocks! He showed up early and got to know our two kids and was set up and ready before the first guest arrived. He gave the birthday girl special presents, and focused a lot of attention on her during his performance. He also was thoughtful enough to pay extra attention to her little brother.
