At Triage, we believe sweet jobs don't need sugarcoating. And since even the best positions aren't 100% flawless, we're perfectly honest about what isn't perfect. Management consultants call it "setting expectations." We call it giving a damn. For you, it means that even if you can't have everything (you can't), you can still find an awesome gig.
We don't claim to know everything about every thing, but we do have a pretty good handle on ins, outs, ups and downs of medical traveling. And we hope this blog proves we also have a handle on making those things interesting. Triage earns a top-5 spot on BluePipes 2021 Best Travel Nursing Companies list for the fifth consecutive year.

We are a fairly young company (we started in 2006). And we're more than okay with that. Because it's all well and good to learn from the past, but it's disastrous to be stuck in it. And stuck in a one-size-fits-all, churn-and-burn mentality is not what Triage is about. Never has been. Never will be.
Triage was founded on the principle that putting long-term relationships before quick business transactions would help us stand out. We know there are hundreds of recruiting companies out there, so being voted one of the best across different sources by travelers like you reassures us that we're on to something.
Even if the most advanced medical technique you're familiar with is administering aspirin, there's always room for driven individuals at Triage HQ. Helping medical travelers find assignments across the country is fast-paced, challenging work that can be extremely rewarding.
You'll make relationships with professionals across the country and can earn an exceptional living, plus HQ is a pretty cool spot, complete with beer fridges and ping-pong tables that are used daily - not just as ornaments to attract job hopefuls. If all this sounds like something you'd like, too, we may be just the workplace you're looking for.

At Triage, we're throwing down the gauntlet and challenging other healthcare staffing agencies to do whatever they can to make their travelers' lives easier. Our partnership with Kamana Health aims to completely transform the healthcare staffing industry and we are here for it.
Kamana's founders knew they could find a better way to manage credentialing than carrying around an old dusty laptop and storing important docs in the camera reel on their phones.Kamana is a simple solution to a major pain point for all healthcare pros, not just travelers. And it didn't exist until now.

At Triage, we do our best to help make the time you spend on the road worth it. If you've never traveled with us-or at all, you may be wondering exactly how it all works. It begins with you. And what you want out of your career and the traveling lifestyle.

An amazing travel agency. From my recruiter, to the onboarding and compliance folks, it has been an amazing experience with beginning my travel nursing journey. With so many different agencies out there, it was overwhelming when I was first looking into things. Triage has been incredibly professional, very timely with responses to any questions I have had, and prompt with getting me paid and with any compliance items that I need. My recruiter, Sara G. Is phenomenal. I am so excited to continue my travel nursing journey with Triage!

Who you choose to travel with has a HUGE impact on your travel experience. My recruiter, Adam E., and everyone I've worked with at Triage has been extremely responsive, helpful, and encouraging. With Triage, you are treated like family. Adam is always straight forward and repeatedly goes above and beyond to make sure that his travelers are taken care of. Even compliance, which I know can be difficult during a pandemic with limited staff and resources, was organized. Because of Angela's dedication, I was able to start my assignment on time. With excellent communication, competitive compensation

I have been doing contracts since 2007, working with 4 recruiting companies. Triage was the best of them and Kelly Murphy was my recruiter for years. He consistently landed me the best contracts and solved all my logistical problems quickly. I am currently employed by Triage and totally satisfied which our mutual association.

My recruiter Krista is great! Triage is the first travel company that I’ve worked for and there are a lot unknown variables to the style of work but Krista has not skipped a beat when it comes to giving me the skinny. I am currently traveling with my significant other who is also working with triage. Krista has bent over backwards to try an achieve all of the criteria that we ask for in jobs and we truly appreciate her.

Before I started traveling I received the best advice from my cousin who was a RN traveler. She said “whatever you do, find a recruiter that works for you and you are really happy with“. That one thing was not as easy as you think, but I am very fortunate to have found Jared Renken with Triage. He really cares about his travelers, he wants you to have the best experience, at work and on your time off. He calls and checks on me, and not just when it is time to renew or find a new assignment, but just because he cares. If you are looking for an amazing recruiter that really works for you, give

This is my first travel contract since 2009 and Triage has been very good to me. I've been working with Louis Teal and he is always available or quick to return a phone call. The pay is prompt and accurate and I've always liked weekly pay, that way I'm only broke for 6 days. The technology has changed with on boarding and it's easier than ever. I would highly recommend this company if you are considering traveling.

I have truly and genuinely enjoyed working with this company. I began recruiting with them starting in my final years of PT school and despite going with another travel company right after school, due to the pandemic, I ultimately ended up with Triage. Not only were they willing to work with me when I was ready but they stayed in touch and contacted me when I told them I would be ready in 6 months. My recruiter (Julianna) is so responsive and helpful and has been helping me every step of the way. The process was quick yet thorough and she’s has had my back with every company I’ve been contracted

I love working with Triage Staffing. I have worked with Kelly Murphy on and off since 2012 and he has always fulfilled what he promises. Kelly knows I am a single woman and always makes sure that I am in a safe place to live. If Kelly says he will do something for you, he does! He is also very concerned that where he places you is comfortable for you. I could brag on and on about what a great experience I have had. Thank you Kelly and the Triage Staffing Team. Traveling with Triage this past summer was great! I'm sorry the person before me had a bad experience visiting the web site, but that is not a true picture of Triage. My recruiter, Alicia was very helpful explaining all the changes in travel nursing that have occurred to keep my income high. All her suggestions were excellent and right on! I have traveled for the past 14 years but not consistently. I chose an assignment in the midwest so I could visit friends. I had a great time visiting, working for a great hospital system, making new friends and I paid off my car doing it!. I love

I found them to be very misleading. I saw an ad for a Rad Tech position in Austin, TX. 13 weeks, beginning 5/14/ 2018. I clicked on view button. And the job was in Webster, TX not in Austin. And the position was for a EP (not sure what that is) I did speak to some one named Jim and he was really not much help. I inquired about their Rad Texh wages and he couldn't give me the an answer because he was new and obviously ignorant of his job. Too many red flags for me. Why would any one want to work for a company where honesty is not a virtue worth practicing.
