Services
Palomar Family Counseling Service is a nonprofit counseling agency formed in 1956 by community leaders who recognized a need in North County for professional and coordinated counseling services for children and families. Strong volunteer community support founded the agency's current main office in Escondido as well as the establishment of satellite offices in Fallbrook, Poway, and Vista.
We provide a comprehensive array of affordable and professional clinical services in four offices, including evenings and Saturdays. In addition to the office-based clinical services, PFCS offers clinical services in locations such as schools, child development centers, and homes. We offers groups to treat domestic violence, anger management, and substance abuse as well as school-based prevention and early intervention services.

I come from a rather broken family....addictions and chemical imbalances plague us throughout our family! When I turned 40 I got custody of my 13 month old granddaughter! My oldest child had been excessively abusive and the toddler was deeply traumatized! Around age 6-8 I searched out a therapist for her and support for myself!
We were lucky to… find Chris Duvall! Her insight, wisdom, genuine care and tenacity became the driving force in our family’s healing.
