Capstone Christian Counseling was founded in 1998 by Rich and Cathy Bisson. At that time, we recognized a need in our community for a distinctively Christian center where professional counseling could be provided in a confidential environment. Since then, we have been a professional resource for pastors, churches, Christian organizations, families and individuals in the community.
Our mission is to provide a genuinely caring environment to help our clients deal with the complex issues they face each day. We explore each issue combining best practices of psychotherapy with a view to integrating faith and the direction that God can provide. Throughout the process, we recognize and invite the power of Jesus Christ to provide wisdom, guidance, strength and healing.

Services
Through a faith-based, emotionally focused couple's therapy approach, we explore challenges, struggles, and relational areas needing to be addressed. I'm always looking forward to my weekly sessions with Rich. In a single meeting I feel renewed, relaxed and redirected on a more constructive path. Even if I stear off course along the way, I'm lovingly guided back. He understands what I'm feeling often better than I do! It's hard to know, sometimes, how to help ourselves when your own emotions are a little difficult to discern. Having Richard's insight is a valuable asset and I credit much of my growth to his council. I'll be forever grateful for the blessing he's been in aiding in my recovery. When I first sought treatment I was in such horrible
