Dr. Hobart is a native of Florida. He grew up in South Florida and North Georgia. He graduated from The College of Charleston in 1993 and The Medical University of South Carolina in 1997. Following graduation, Dr. Hobart had a solo dental practice in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In 2008, he moved to Bluffton with his wife, Holly, and his son.
Dr. Hobart, Dr. Ulbrich, Dr. Buck and our team take care of our patients. We try to work out individual payment plans for those who do not have any insurance. All payment plans are set on a case-by-case basis. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, Diners Club and CareCredit. Clean and nice, but I don’t think the dentist I seen put true love & care back into her patients. Matter-of-fact, I went back twice for the same issue, and she didn’t seem moved to help me resolve it.
It is a “check the block” dentistry— cleanings are good, but if you want real and impressive dentistry, check out the Biological Dentist in Bluffton!

New to the area and broke a tooth I was able to get in same day. Temporary fix that day and scheduled an appointment, staff worked around my schedule to accommodate my work schedule. Very friendly staff, very helpful and explained everything they did. The rest of my family will use the same office! 5 stars is not enough!!

I would like to say that Tracy is meticulous in everything she does right down to giving me over two dozen shots of nova cane in my two that did not hurt at all. That alone shows great expertise in her field. Even though Tracy told me that me teeth looked vary clean Tracy took the extra time to take Xray's to give her more insight into the cleanliness of my teeth below the gum line, giving her the evidence for the deep cleaning.

We have been using first dental for a very long time and would highly recommend them to everyone we know! They are extremely professional, their work is quite good, and everyone there is friendly and helpful.To show how much we enjoy first dental we even go all the way out there from on Hilton head Island because there is no way we would change to another office! I highly recommend First Dental for all your teeth needs! Everyone i encountered that worked there was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They seemed to always be up to date on new technologies and for everyone to have a more comfortable visit. (They even have coffee at the door!) I hate going to the dentist, but they helped keep me at ease and get me in and out as quickly as possible, with still getting everything they needed to do. If I didnt move out of state I would've continued to use First Dental as my dentist!
