Double Take Trailers

Spoke with Curt on the phone, he answered all the questions I had. He did not have the trailer I needed at the time but received 1 shortly after and called me right away. I went and checked it out, I was sold. It was everything he said it would be and more. His knowledge and excellent communication has made it easy to refer friends and colleagues to him knowing they will get exactly what they need when they deal with him!! No doubt he will be my only call if I need another trailer!!

Called in to ask about a trailer, it had already sold, but Curt had another one he just got in. It's a hot market for trailers! Curt was Prompt in his responses, and very attentative. I drove down to take a look and purchase! Very nice trailer, good service and great experience. Highly recommend

Purchased my 6x12 dump trailer from curt and the trailer was just as advertised. I'm happy with my purchase and pick up process was easy.

They had a concession trailer in stock and ready to go. So, I drove out from Ohio. The trailer is just what we were looking for. Quality construction, and we didn't have to wait the extended lead times for a custom built trailer. Curt was helpful and made the process easy.

I have sent a few facebook messages, tried their message center on the website and left a voicemail and have gotten no reply. In most or all of my contacts I have stated that I am looking to buy a trailer this week but have still got no reply on if the inventory on their website is up to date. I guess they could just change the name to "Doubletake trailer" and drop the sales because apparently they don't want to actually sell trailers.

Ordered a trailer 16 weeks ago. Nobody will return my phone calls or emails to let me know what is going on. The customer service and communication has been terrible. I understand that there might be production delays, but they are failing at things that are 100% under their control. I would not recommend doing business with these guys.

I ordered a trailer from Curt and paid for it. He told me he would have to order it and it would be 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks I attempted to call him every week to see where my trailer was. Curt never answered his phone or returned my calls. This went on for a year. I ended up driving through council bluffs and decided to stop by to see what the deal with the trailer I paid for was. The address for his business is a house in the middle of nowhere with zero trailer inventory. I ended up having to get police and a lawyer involved to get my money back. DO NOT ORDER from double take he is a scam.

Run as fast as you can away from this company. We tried to purchase a food trailer in February of 2020 we were told it would take 6-8 weeks. Paid this guy 1/2 down. May came and no trailer, wouldn’t return phone calls, emails. When we would get contact we heard some song and dance and lies. Finally in August we contacted the states attorney in South Dakota he helped us get part of our money back. Then the South Dakota states attorney got the Iowa states attorney after more run around and bad check written to us we finally received our down payment back in full. It took until the end of November

Had a great experience purchasing my trailer. Curt made a long distance purchase as painless as possible..

We have been called by THREE parties now who have also been taken advantage of by this company. I am amazed he is still in business, due to his extreme lack of professionalism and honest business dealings. If I could assign a message to the star above, it would be "Do not do business with this company. They are frauds."
