If we could give a zero we would! My husband took his 94 year old father here today. The DO was rude, condescending, unprofessional, arrogant and more. Stay away, no one should tolerate that behavior. Especially, not asking for consent before he begins to remove AK. First, as a health professional for over 45 years, professionalism is addressing the patient, speaking appropriately to a 94 year old, asking questions, listening, they are the patient they know their history well. No need to say more, avoid this DO.

The dermatologist removed a mole of mine which left a huge gash on my back. He never thought of putting stitches in it which left it infected and took a month to heal horribly. It looks terrible. I’ll be going to Phoenix for dermatology for now on. They’ve removed too many moles that look terrible after healing and I’m only 27.
The front desk staff is also very rude and not helpful to making any appointments that aren’t made 3 months in advance. It would be nice to have a decent dermatologist that could be seen without a 3 months noticed when you’re already a client. Customer service

New opinion and review. The poor doctor who created the problem is no longer with MacKenzie Dermatology. I'm very happy to change my review. I cannot be happier with the professional treatment I receive. From quick appointments, dealing with insurance companies, to the outstanding skin care provided by Kim and the staff is thorough, polite and respectful. Would recommend these pros to all.

This is my 2nd review for this office in past couple years. Was referred by my general doc after annual physical noted concerns RE a mole. Excellent efficient service, the doc (Carlson this time) answered all questions, etc. Very smooth experience all around, great service and expertise, staff was attentive and very sharp. As with my prior review, I highly recommend this office.

What a tremendous experience! Went in for my first skin exam, left a forever patient! From the moment I called to schedule my appointment, to the second I left the door, I have never been treated so wonderfully by any medical office/staff in my life... We all have to make unwanted visits to see medical professionals, it's not fun to begin with, then you get to your appointment and you have long waits and sub par staff. Not here, the staff at MacKenzie Dermatology were beyond unbelievable in their customer service, in caring for my entire family. I will be suggesting this practice to everyone I

Had a very good experience here. Being new to Prescott and having had skin cancer previously, knowledgeable docs were important to me. My first experience was with Dr. Mackenzie. He was personable, knowledgeable, and very professional. His choice to biopsy was a good one, as it turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. My second visit was with Dr. Joe C. Who performed my MOH's surgery. Same experience! Dr. Joe was caring, professional as he told me what he was doing during the entire procedure. I am so grateful to these two docs for taking such good care of me!

I just visited MacKenzie Dermatology for my first time. I was very impressed with the entire experience. The office staff, though they had just gone through an hour-long power outage were calm and welcoming. The nurses were great, listening to me carefully. Dr. MacKenzie was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained everything carefully, and listened well to any of my questions. The procedure went off smoothly. I would recommend him to anyone.
