El Puente High School is committed to providing a small, safe, and nurturing learning environment in which students focus on becoming contributing members of society. We believe that a solid and well-rounded academic education is the essential cornerstone in building a successful future for each of our students.
We expect all students to treat others as they would like to be treated. Students are to respect themselves, other students, staff, building employees, the school and the building. There are five overarching school-wide rules. They are called the B.L.U.E.S. No weapons (includes but not limited to- gun, knife, pepper spray or any object used as a weapon).
Since 2010, Ford Driving Dreams Grants has invested more than $1.3 million and impacted more than 1,750 students and 66 Councils across the country and Puerto Rico. For the ninth consecutive year, Ford Motor Company Fund and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) have selected ten LULAC councils to receive high school drop-out prevention program grants.

These internships help to expand your career interest, increase self-esteem, develop stronger interviewing and job seeking skills, and develop a responsible work ethic.
