With more than 4,500 graduates, SJA women are making a difference in Milwaukee and beyond! St. Joan Antida High School (SJA) was awarded a $375,000 grant from the Burke Foundation in their most recent round of funding. The school will use this transformational gift to create a new collaborative learning center on campus in addition to adding a full-time school social worker to meet the growing social/emotional needs of its students.

She will be missed dearly. Social media and especially Instagram have helped to keep us together throughout the past year as we transitioned to our new virtual way of life. 2020 was a year one to remember - from the joy of graduation and the start of a new school year to celebrating the lives of our beloved Sisters, here is a look back at our favorite St. Joan Antida High School posts of 2020.

Founded in 1954, St. Joan Antida High School (SJA) prepares and empowers young women to lead and serve in a global society. We provide a student-centered, college-preparatory education to young women in grades 9-12.

Located in downtown Milwaukee and sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida, SJA offers a Catholic, values-based approach with an educational model focused on academic quality, personalized attention, and leadership development.In the spirit of Saint Joan Antida Thouret's passion to educate and empower young women, we prepare our students to lead and serve in a global society through a Catholic, values-based education.
Founded in 1954 in the spirit of St. Joan Antida Thouret and the tradition of the Catholic faith, St. Joan Antida High School has served the educational needs and life aspirations of young women for nearly 70 years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They began working at St. Camillus. A year later, eight more Sisters arrived to begin their work with Italian immigrants in Third Ward at Our Lady of Pompei Church.

SJA grads have attended Dartmouth College, Tufts University, Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), Alverno College, Mount Mary College, Marquette University and UW-Madison, to name a few.Our students choose career paths that lead to them working as doctors, artists, entrepreneurs and community leaders.

I went to SJA all four years. I was years filled with Love AWESOME teachers.Diversity but unified by love.Learned about the different cultures helped me communicate with other races in the a world. We became Sisters Class of 03

I went to St. Joan Antida about a month ago for an open house, and I
have to say, the staff and students were so welcoming and
supportive! The school is very strict in academics which every
school should be. They really want their girls to be successful. They
also believe that the girls will be someone one day.
