Allie of Warder Bodywork is absolutely amazing. I've been fortunate to have many massages in my days. Allie was very attentive and tuned into exactly what my body needed. As an avid runner, I get an extremely tight neck and she fixed that in one session. She's been to our home twice in one week and will unquestionably be back. Thanks, Allie, and Warder Bodyworks!

I travel all the way from LA to receive treatments from both Dave & Leah- they are the best in their field of massage therapy, especially if you suffer from an injury like I do. I have been diagnosed with a herniated L5/S1 in my lower back & they have not only helped with my pain management & fitness goals but they also helped me avoid surgery on my back. I couldn't be more grateful & can't say enough good things about my experience.

I often have lower-back pain from my work as a photographer and have visited Zen multiple times for treatments. Honestly, I have had much better luck with their work on me in terms of recovering, than from a chiropractor! David and Aubrey have been SO good at de-tensioning my muscles and I always leave feeling happier, more relaxed, and refreshed!

Great experience! Only gave it a four star because it was hard to find the place, I believe the sign says Zen something. Also the female representative was all over the place but it could of been due to our bad phone connection. I can't remember the guy who worked on me..Maybe Aaron? But he was wonderful, I plan on coming back- my GF had Brandon and she loved her massage!!

I cannot recommend David highly enough for anyone looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable massage therapist who is not only a dedicated professional about his work but also incredibly nice to deal with. David's TEC Bodywork massage offers targeted or general therapy. For me, that includes relieving tight muscles from workouts as well as addressing a long-standing back issue that David first identified and then concentrated on. My back has been pain-free for some time now, a great credit to David's technique and skill. He's amazing!

I have major lower back and upper neck problems due to a house crushing me and then again, a mechanic's truck running me over. I went in last Friday because I have been in pain for over three weeks with a torn muscle in the middle of my back affecting my neck problem. I was hoping that at least after walking out of there I would feel a little less discomfort. what happened was halfway through the massage I started realizing all the pain was disappearing and sporadic spots as I was getting my massage done. by the time I was off the table up and walking around I could actually hold my head in

My first massage was with David. He really listened to my complaints and made me feel very comfortable. I like the fact that I could stay dressed if I wanted to as well! He has a great touch and my body felt fantastic. The next time I saw his wife Leah and she’s great as well. Very sweet and compassionate and got into those knots but not in painful way. I felt calmer them moment I stepped into the office. They really have the zen thing down! They are located in an easy location just off the freeway and have a parking lot. You can also make your appointment online too! Highly recommend these guys

David and Leah are absolutely amazing at what they do. I have a recurring injury in my left shoulder where it can lock up if I sleep on it funny where I literally can't move my neck without being in extreme pain. Before I found Warder Bodywork I would just walk around awkwardly with my neck kinked to one side, in pain for a couple of days. Now I go see the Warders. David is able to work out the knot in one treatment, offering me instant relief to the pain and restoring a full range of motion to my neck. I've also gone to see them for running related injuries with similarly good results. Highly

"I can twist my body and it feels awesome!" said my son after an hour long therapeutic massage at Warder Bodywork. My college-aged boy had been complaining about tension and stiffness in his back for weeks. I'd heard great things about David, but the timing was better to try out Leah. (Warder Bodywork offers lots of evening options, which is so helpful). My son loved every minute and feels so much better heading off to school. He will certainly come back to relieve the stress from finals in December.

First let me say it takes a lot for me to be inspired to write a review, and it takes even more to be impressed with a bodyworker. Being an Acupuncturist for 13 years and having done bodywork and massage for over 15, it was clear to me right away from the start, that David Warder knew his stuff. When you combine the cool Kensington location, Davids relaxed style, and true technical knowledge expressed in a graceful way, you get a 5 star review from me and an impressed soon to be repeat customer. The world needs more guys like this in it.

My line of work has me on my feet and doing manual labor all day long. I get beat up pretty bad on a daily basis. Nothing fixes that better then a good massage. I feel like a new person after every visit. Thank you David. I recommend you to all my friends. All of them are very satisfied. Like i knew they would be :)

I have had the good fortune of having a massage from both David and Leah Warder of Warder Bodywork. By far, two of the most experienced, knowledgeable, best message therapists I have been to. I grew up on massage and acupuncture and I am still surprised at how well David and Leah understand how to both create a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, but also offer true relief for aches, pains, headaches, and injuries specific to my body - not just the run of the mill rub me down. I highly recommend Warder Bodywork, and in fact, refer all of my clients to them (even buying my friends gift certificates

I received an hour long massage as a gift from my girlfriend last week, and went in Thursday for my appointment with Leah (prounounced like Leia from Star Wars, how cool is that?!?). :)

Being my first professional massage of my life, I was a little bit unsure what to expect, but I was excited to try it, as I've been curious about it for some time now. I have a bothersome lower back that tenses up and pops almost daily, and I was really hoping this would be a positive step to fixing my problem.

The studio was very peaceful, with eastern influences and art that set the tone of relaxation

I went to see Leah Warder after waking up a straight week with back pain. When I arrived Leah was warm and welcoming and the office was so inviting and calming, it all put you at easy immediately. I was welcomed into an adorable room where Leah easily explained how we were going to get started. She paid attention to detail, working on areas I had said were really bothering me. She was very attentive to the amount of pressure she was using and like magic knew exactly when to use less pressure. I never felt in more pain than I could handle. It was a relaxing time, yet really targeted the pain that

Okay, so I've been seeing David for just shy of a year now. I go every single month (yeah, he's THAT good) and I just wanted to say that he is STILL amazing. I went in this morning for a couple trouble spots and some general work and everywhere he hit was perfect. He started with my back (which I didn't realize was bad) and worked out these knots that cause my back to go out EVERY YEAR. I have no doubt that he prevented that from happening this year.

This massage was BRUTAL (but David adjusts pressure for clients and is really good about checking in periodically). When one

This was my first massage ever and it was amazing. From just walking into the place the envionment is very welcoming and calm. David did an awesome job on my body. I recieved a full body masssge with more focus on my upper back and shoulders. David was very gentle but firm with his approach. Overall, just AMAZING. I recommend this place to anyone who just wants a general massage or who may have trouble areas.

We found David through our Physical Therapist. My daughter is a softball pitcher. She has pitched for 10+ years. I thought she need PT again. When she was checked he said she was too tight and needed massage therapy, and gave me David's card. After her first session she felt great. By her third session her velocity was better than it had been in months. David has shown her how to stretch at home. We have been to other massage places. They do a good job with the whole shoulder area, pretty much the same way for every customer they see. But, David looks at her arm/shoulder/neck and is able to isolate

I was fortunate enough to be able to receive a mat massage from Leah Warder at zen sanctuary, it was the most amazing massage experience i have had in a long time. Her skilled compassionate touch not only left me completely relaxed but she also brought relief to my hips, and neck which always seem to give me trouble. As a fellow massage therapist and student adviser at a holistic health school, i have experienced many massages by many practitioners, and i would highly recommend Leah's work.

I've had a few massages from Leah now and I can say she's one of the best massage therapists I've ever had. Her Taisu specialty mat massage is my favorite, and is far more relaxing and beneficial than the Thai massages I've had at the places where you get stepped on with bone-crushing weight somehow by a tiny Thai lady.

Leah is great at catering her massage to your needs. I recently broke my arm and had invasive surgery, and I trusted no one other than Leah to give me my first massage in months after the injury, and she was able to melt away so much of the soreness and pain

I love massages. When I had my first massage with Leah it was absolutely awesome. It was also super nice after the massage that she took the time to share her thoughts on why she thought certain areas on my body carried more tension than others. She had some valuable tips and ideas on what I can do in between massages in order to feel better. I appreciated the care and concern she had for my well being. Sometimes when I get a massage I figure once it is over and the hour is up and the therapist gets paid I am no longer in their radar (which I didn't expect other!) But surprisingly I

David has a great passion for what he does for a living and it reflects in his massages.

There are a lot of massage people out there and if you are really in need of a true "therapeutic Massage" you will soon learn the difference of what a true therapeutic massage is and should be.

I drive for a living and one year I managed to get a kink in my neck so bad that I could not lift my head off the pillow. That was when I realized just how heavy your head really is.

The universe sent me to David, because I seriously don't remember how I ended up becoming a regular client.

As a low maintenance guy, I am not one to seek out things like manicures, pedicures, massages, etc. When I do seek out massage, it is typically because I am injured. I have a recurring deltoid injury in my shoulder and when I pull the muscle, it hurts a lot, swells up very quickly and causes my neck to lean to one side like a strange puppet gone wrong.

Almost two years ago, I pulled the muscle and wasn't sure who to call. A friend recommended David Warder of Warder Bodywork. I was a little bit apprehensive going to a male therapist because every other massage I have had was a relaxation massage

I have been raving about this massage for the past 3 days! David came highly recommended by a friend (who I'll have to harass to write a review!) and I was NOT disappointed! I got a 90 minute massage for some worse-than-usual low back pain and a gnarly knot in my neck that was giving me headaches, and both places are now pain-free. The pressure was perfect and David kept checking in to make sure it was good. He also did some spot-checking and discovered that the areas that were aching were not necessarily the root of the pain! I trusted his judgement, enjoyed my 90 minutes, and am VERY pleased
