Lake Dillon Eye Care was established in June of 2012. We are the only eye center to offer surgical services in Summit County, thus eliminating the need for patients to commute to Denver for cataract surgery and various corneal procedures. All surgeries are performed at Peak One Outpatient Department at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco, CO.
Our Optometrist, Dr. Wills Vanray, and Ophthalmologist, Dr. Matthew Chang, partner to provide the highest quality eye care, combined with professionalism, respect, and unmatched compassion for their patients. Here at Lake Dillon Eye Care, we believe that healthy eyes lead to healthy living - it's the Colorado way.

Services
Cataract occurs when the natural lenses in our eyes become cloudy, or develop an opacity. Most cataracts are results of normal aging, however, one can also develop cataract from eye trauma and diabetes. Cataract surgery is a procedure to remove the lenses of your eyes, and, in most cases, replace it with an artificial lens.

I've been going to Lake Dillon Eye Care for years and am very happy with the care I receive there. Both Drs. Wills and Melissa Vanray are great. They are very thorough and always take the time to explain everything. And their office staff are always very helpful. Happy to have such a good eye clinic near me.

Good doctor comes with busy schedule. I recommend planning ahead because Dr. Vanray gets booked up so quickly. Though, it's definitely worth the wait, because Dr. Vanray really takes the time with your treatment and exam to make sure to solve all the problems you have with your vision. Also, good doctor comes with good staffs. My son & I appreciate everything you do. We love Lake Dillon Eye Care! :-)

Scheduled an eye appointment. The optometrist looked at my eyes for 2 minutes, told me I had an infection and it would be a medical appointment and I would have to come back later in the week. He then informed me that while my eye insurance is in network with them, my medical is not and I would have to pay out of pocket for the exam... 125 out of pocket, as well as still come back later that week and pay again. I informed them I would go elsewhere at that point. I was told I would need to give the sample contacts back out of my eyes and retrieve the contacts he had thrown in the trash if I wanted

If I could give this location and doctor 10 stars or more I would. We came to Colorado on a ski trip from Florida and my fiance, during our stay suffered from a severe corneal abrasion due to dry weather. We were recommended here by a local pharmacist, and I am so glad we went. Best bed-side manners and super informative. He was also very kind; while we waited, Dr. Vanray went outside to help one of his patients from her car, when do you ever see a doctor do that? He also knew his patients by name. Normally, I don't do tons of reviews, but this place absolutely deserved it.
