Dr. Luber founded Southwest Skin Specialists in 1989 with the goal of providing the best dermatologic health care in the Phoenix community. Today, the practice continues to flourish because every physician and staff member at Southwest Skin Specialists share his commitment to this goal. After attaining his undergraduate degree at Yale University in 1978, Dr Luber earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1982.
Dr. Giancola joined Southwest Skin Specialists in 1997. After attaining his undergraduate degree from Creighton University in 1986, Dr. Giancola graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in 1990. His postgraduate training included an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix and a residency in Dermatology at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Salmon joined Southwest Skin Specialists in 1999. After attaining her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis in 1986, where she was the recipient of the College Medal, Dr. Salmon earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1990.
Her postgraduate training included an Internal Medicine internship at UCSF and a residency in Dermatology at Oregon Health Services University, where she was Chief Resident.Dr Salmon has published articles on the skin immune system, neurocutaneous disorders, psoriasis, and congenital and genetic disorders of skin.

Dr. LeSueur has been practicing general and surgical Dermatology at Southwest Skin Specialists since 2004. In addition, Dr. LeSueur is an Associate Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine with responsibility of teaching and mentoring medical students. A native of Arizona, Dr. LeSueur earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Arizona State University in 1995.
Dr. Heck started at Southwest Skin Specialists in 2006, where she specializes in cosmetic Dermatology. She previously served as an assistant professor of Dermatology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), where she earned her medical degree in 2001, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine.

Dr. Salmon is beyond good -she is excellent and an attribute to the medical profession!. I have known her as my physician for twenty years. I’ve been seeing Dr Cummings and her staff since 2016. It’s hard to get in to see her because she’s so busy but she’s worth the wait! I don’t want to see anyone else (except maybe her partners). She’s honest about treatments and her aim is to for you to achieve natural results. She never encourages “over doing it”.

What a great experience. Dr Cummings is always so nice and friendly. The staff is great. From the the minute you walk in your treated kindly. In the treatment room the nurse makes you feel at home. I think it’s important to trust your healthcare team. This team makes that easy. They get a 10+😊

What an outstanding experience. I was truly totally impressed with this fine young doctor. Made me feel comfortable and not at all afraid. She explained things to me nicely so I felt at ease. I did have an outstanding report from her at the end of the session. But she told me if ever I feel the need to see her, just feel free to call and make an appointment.
