Services
Apex Academy offers high quality Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and School Age programs for the families of the Keller and North Richland Hills area. We offer Infant and Toddler care for children beginning at the age of six weeks old as well as private Preschool programs utilizing the A Beka curriculum for children ages two-five.
We have in our team highly experienced and kids friendly Teachers and Care-givers who are highly dedicated, experienced and motivated to groom the children towards an all-round development. Our staff very well understand the fact that each child is a unique person and do have his/her own pattern of social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
Infrastructure of school is always associated with the status and quality of learning at school. Therefore, a good and sound infrastructure is the basic and important requirement. In case of a school for infants & small children, it not only helps to develop an environment for learning of children but more importantly to make sure that each and every child feels at home.
At about 12 months of age children enter our Toddlers program. Our first Toddler room is for children about 12 to 18 months of age. In the Toddler programs, the children begin utilizing their first A Beka Christian workbook to get an early introduction of colors and shapes. They also attend Bible classes and begin attending weekly Spanish classes and bi-weekly music classes.
Apex utilizes The A Beka Christian curriculums in each of our Preschool classrooms. The A Beka curriculum has a high focus on the pre-writing and pre-reading skills that children need to be successful in Kindergarten. The children work on the most basic of concepts, from developing their fine motor skills by cutting and gluing, to encouraging their large gross motor skills by jumping and hopping.

I would not recommend Apex to anyone who needs reliable child care. They have cancelled on childcare multiple times, “due to Covid” they say. Apex has ridiculous Covid exposure guidelines that state if you’ve been “exposed to”, NOT actually HAVE Covid that you cannot enter the facility for 10 days. Even Keller ISD doesn’t have this policy. They are by far the worst child care facility I have ever dealt with. 10 out of 10 wound NOT recommend.

Owned by a true Jack Welch style bean counter, you can rest assured the contract has the small print there to take your money even when they don't deliver actual services. Of course you'll pay full price for most weeks that aren't even open all week. This is par for the course with suburban child care. "They're holding the spot". Just because it is the same everywhere else doesn't make it ethical. They're just copying the same techniques other crooks get away with. They have captured customers and they know it.

My first child started here at 5 months old and is now 4 and my second started here at 12 weeks and is now almost 2 and we would never go anywhere else. There was a change in ownership a couple of years ago and a shift in staff but now the teachers that are there have been there since the shift and others that stayed through the change have been there for years.
I now know every single teacher and the director and assistant director very well and each are fantastic! Every staff member loves every child as their own and makes each child feel special and unique. I can't imagine any other place

My review comes as employee based. I was the Assistant Director for Apex Academy for a bit over 2 years. This was my 4th childcare center to work for and my favorite. Apex kept the Christian values that most centers have long done away. I had left the industry back in Spring of 2008 to pursue other endeavors of watching children away from the center based atmosphere. When I joined Apex in 2014, I felt like I hadn't been away from the field in 6 years. I was accepted right in and felt welcomed.
Apex teaches the A Beka curriculum which is bar far one of the best childcare center curriculums

I applied to Apex Academy during a time where they desperately needed after school help. I was a bit over qualified but I was looking for something small after having my daughter. After talking to the director she nearly offered me the job but first wanted me to come in and see the after school experience. When I got there they were putting me to work. Helping kids with homework moving me around the place. For 2-3 HOURS!!! Everyone there acted like it was a normal thing. As if they bring people in to work for free frequently.
I finally left after telling them I had to go and I tried calling but

Let me just say I LOVE this school. We were at another small, non-chain daycare and decided to move to Apex for a few reasons. We are so glad we did! The staff is super! Great directors and great teachers. My son is 4 years old and is constantly talking about his teacher. The facility is clean, has a lot of activities for the kiddos, and is FUN while educational. My 4yr old is learning to read, do basic math, count by 5s and 10s, knows some Spanish and some sign language.
(as far as cost, compare apples to apples. The review about other Christian schools is probably not completely apples to apples

My review below is based on the pricing of this school, NOT the merit of the school.
We enrolled our son here at the beginning of the year. He only went for 2 days, unfortunately, and we chose to withdraw him. Taking him out had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the school, it was completely to do with our realization that we as a family were not ready for it.
Our son will be 2 this fall so I have decided to research various preschools, again, to enroll him in, with keeping Apex Academy as an option still. I have now looked at 3 other Christian schools in this area that I did not look at before

My daughter has attended Apex since she was 18 months old. She is now 4 and has learned more than I would have ever expected she would at a daycare. She knows all about Jesus and what he does for us and that just makes my heart happy! I know that the curriculum Apex teaches, along with Spanish and music classes, will have my daughter beyond prepared for kindergarten when that day comes. We are very blessed to have all of the teachers and directors that impact my daughter's life with their passion for teaching. Apex is absolutely wonderful and I am so happy I chose to trust them with the most important

Great location right near Shady Grove Elementary. Went on a tour, and loved almost every inch of this place. We met the wonderful Director, the owner, and some very friendly staff members. The place was warm and inviting, and I'd surely send my two prized possessions there for learning and care. It's a faith based school, utilizing the "A Beka" curriculum. They bus to and from many local area schools, even a few that I expected would be a bit too far. A really nice option for working parents!
Their decor is more futuristic than most preschools we visited. All super fun

My experience with Apex has been great. My daughter attended the Summer program and had a wonderful time. She went on a couple of field trips each week, swam in the onsite pool, and participated in weekly newscasts. It made me feel good that my daughter was enjoying herself while I was at work. Apex has a great facility and the staff always goes above and beyond to ensure the kids are safe and having fun.

My experience with Apex Academy has left not only my life but my son's life completely changed. As a parent I was hesitant as most parents are for my son to start a new school. On his very first day at Apex we were both greeted by the Management Team and we felt a sincere welcome. When I picked my son up after his first day there he couldn't quit talking about how awesome his teachers were and how he couldn't wait to go back. This meant the world to me because my son struggled greatly with low self esteem and anxiety. Each of his teachers played and important role in helping him with this. Not

The best childcare facility out there. When it comes to hiring teachers that love babies, this is by far the best place to trust your little one. All of the teachers in the infant room are incredible. My 10 month-old was terrified of other people and it was hard when I first put her in day care. Ms. Mae was so loving to her that she really gets excited to see her every day. I have visited many day cares to find the right one and found that the people at Apex just make you feel good about leaving your baby there.

Apex is a fantastic facility in every way. We've had our son there since he was around six weeks old and have never had any cause for concern. He has always been happy, loved, and well educated throughout the entire day. They always let us know what's going on and constantly have many enriching activities for him. I cannot recommend Apex enough!

Apex is, without a doubt, the best child care facility I've ever come in contact with as a parent. They have children ranging in age from six weeks up to nearly the teenage years, split into classrooms based upon age, development, and similar factors. Our most direct experience with them has been with our son who has been at Apex since he was six weeks old. As of this posting, he's 19 months old and loves going to "school" every day.
He loves all of his teachers and knows them by name. Conversely, everyone there knows him and they always greet him by name in the morning when
