Ours was a house for children, rather than a real school. We had prepared a place for children, where a diffused culture could be assimilated, without any need for direct instruction. Yet these children learned to read and write before they were five, and no one had given them any lessons.
At that time it seemed miraculous those children four and a half should be able to write, and that they should have learned without the feeling of having been taught.We puzzled over it for a long time. Only after repeated experiments did we conclude with certainty that all children are endowed with this capacity to 'absorb' culture.

The 'Primary' is the pre-school setting for children from three to six years of age. There are four main areas in the pre-school program: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language and Mathematics. Considerable emphasis is also placed on Creative Arts, Music, Science, Geography and Cultural Studies. Sensorial : From an early age children start developing a sense of order, seek to sort, arrange and classify things or objects.

My kid has been falling ill quite regularly after going to this academy. Looks like no provision to stop kids with illness, from coming to school. This is the second Montessori we joined our kid to, and it wasnt the case previously, so you wouldn’t expect frequent illnesses while signing any documents.
On other side, curriculum wise, its good. harris is very nice.

This place is a hidden gem. My daughter has been going since about 11 months, and we’ve had a great experience. The school is small enough that all the teachers and staff know my daughter Every time I walk through a classroom the environment is warm and peaceful. We were lucky to find this place so close to our house, and we definitely send our son when he’s older.

The owner is greedy and keeps her tuitions low but on the whole cares less about students but more about her monthly revenue. I have seen this place with 25 kids in a toddler class with one teacher for so long. At that time when teacher was 62 yrs old. My common sense said she needs a TA the least but the owner taught her profits would fall. I had a word with her about it but she cared less. I have also seen a huge teacher turnover here so that talks alot too. I would definitely not recommend to anyone. There were a grt consensus about it among a lot of us moms where we all pulled out our kids

My daughter has been going to Sherwood Montessori since she was 4 months old. At just over three years old, she thrives in this academic-driven and playful environment. The teachers and staff are caring and have become like family. I highly recommend Sherwood if you're looking for a school that your child can learn and grow in.

My daughter and I LOVE this place. Any issues I have get resolved and they are amazing caring teachers and staff. Mrs. A, Ms. Stephani and many others are simply wonderful! Not many new teachers since we've been coming in which is always a good sign. Since coming to the Montessori school my daughters flourished and is educated well beyond her years. They really keep them loving to learn. I love that I can really see our supply fees go back into the school and their projects. They have spanish and tumbling once a week or so which is also a really nice add! I really can't thank them enough for all

My daughter began attending this facility a little over a year ago and I could see her improvement almost instantly. She is two and a half years old now and already using full sentences. She can count to twenty, she knows her shapes and colors, she sings a countless number of songs, and she comes home in a good mood at the end of every day. The staff is wonderful, diligent and they treat us like family. I am confident this program has given my daughter the best head start in life that any parent could wish or hope for, and it did so more affordably than other schools I had looked into.

I couldn't have found a better school for my daughter. She has been there since she was 6 months old and she's almost 3yrs old now. Sophia has learned so much in a short period of time thanks to Sherwood. I toured 7 other schools before I found this one and I knew from the minute I walked in that Sherwood was the school for my daughter. Sherwood is clean, festive for every season, and extremely welcoming. My daughter loves all her teachers that she has had so far and they genuinely care for her. Shout out to Miss Misty, Miss Shabana, Miss Stephanie, Miss A and all of the teachers at Sherwood! I

Our daughter has been going to Sherwood now for almost a year. She really loves her school. The teachers are very caring and focused on the children. Many of her teachers have been at Sherwood since before she started. The place is very well maintained and they have tons of educational toys to keep the children busy. The ratio of teachers to students is excellent. The teachers do provide individual care. In addition, they have gymnastics on Tuesday, music on Wednesdays so there are other activities outside the classroom to keep the students happy and busy.

We put our daughter into this daycare almost 2 months ago. She seems to have opened up a lot more than the early days. The staff here is really friendly and love taking care of our daughter. The director of the daycare is by far the friendliest person I've ever met. Brianna, Misty, and Shabana take care of our daughter very well. They do art projects with her. The staff here provides updates to our daughters progress every day. They use the precious status app which really helps us see how our daughter is doing throughout the day. This is the first time we've ever put our kids in daycare

Our son began attending school here in January, and he absolutely loves the school and his teachers! They are very attentive, compassionate and dedicated to teaching. We have noticed that his communication skills and speech have improved dramatically since starting. We love the varied activities they do including science class, gymnastics, Spanish class, etc. It is so nice to get so many text and photo updates about his daily activities through the precious status app. We are confident that he is in good hands, and we are able to see all the neat things he is learning daily. We wanted to thank Sherwood Christian Montessori for enabling my children to be successful in school. I have four children and all of them have attended Sherwood Christian Montessori. The SCM teachers are experienced educators who share their knowledge with the children using fun games and Montessori tools. The program also includes two foreign languages: Spanish and Japanese. It is quite amazing to see your child singing in Spanish and counting in Japanese!!! Fantastic environment tailored to learning and discovering. Highly recommend SCM to any potential parents.
