We certainly hope that you enjoy your stay and have great fun exploring our historic western town. Tombstone was one of the last frontier boom towns in the American Old West, founded in 1879 by Ed Schieffelin. From 1877 to 1890, the town's mines produced $85 million in silver bullion; the largest silver producing district in Arizona.
Ed Schieffelin was a scout for the U.S Army headquartered at Camp Huachuca. Schieffelin often searched known Indian country looking for valuable ore samples. At the Santa Rita mines, three superintendents had been already been killed by Indians. As the account goes, fellow scouts mocked him and told him, "The only rock you will find out there will be your own tombstone."

Check in was long and tedious. Rooms are poorly maintained. The staff/owners are extremely rude. They advertise free breakfast at 7:00, but that doesn’t happen and they leave you standing locked in the cold, after you have spent the night with a loud dripping faucet which has been dripping for a very long time, and now is a steady stream when they… are to lazy to just install a washer to maintain their expensive rooms. Save your vacation dollars and room any place else. My sisters and I came to see our Niece and Nephews restaurant- Puny John’s which is excellent by the way, but

Well there was no hot water. The bed was very firm. the light lamp wasn't working. And it was more expensive than any other hotel in tombstone it was also the only hotel with vacant rooms and now I see why. Probably won't stay here again if I last min book a room I'd rather drive back to Tucson or go more east and get a hotel.

Price we were quoted when we called was not the price we were charged and we arrived within 45 minutes of calling. Credit card was charged before we even got to our room so that was different. The room was okay but the hot water to the sink wasn't working. In the morning we discovered the cold water for the shower didn't work so the shower only had the option to be scalding hot. We called the front desk and they said someone would come look at it. After waiting awhile, my husband started messing around with stuff and discovered that the hot water valve on the sink and the cold water valve

I've never had an experience like this before. We arrived at check-in time and a room was not ready. There was some tension noticeable with the staff. We went to breakfast, but the tension was still thick. No hot water for tea. So we went out for breakfast. The condition in the room was poor. The hot water streamed down the drain constantly and the cold water was turned completely off.

In the Bathroom...empty shampoo bottle left in the tub.
Only one roll of toilet paper...the one on the roll
Blood or something red smeared on the Wall on the bathroom. The sink and shower leaked...you really have to crank them to shut it off.
The air conditioner wasn't working...we slept with two fans from the front desk. We tried to call the front desk and the room phone doesn't work. We couldn't get the tv channel to change..apparently you have to hold the remote BEHIND the dresser.
The manager was doing the best she could with the limited resources the new owners gave her. The

The little lady who I assume is the owner of the landmark wasn't that pleasant the room we had the Kleenex box was empty the faucet dripped all night the TV remote didn't work due to dead batteries the shower in the bathtub didn't drain you might as well take a bath instead of a shower and on the second night there was no bath mat to

How people could rate this over 1 star is beyond me. The view beautiful and that pretty much it. I asked the lady our ac was not working. She yelled at me saying it was working earlier. I test them everyday she said. Then she threaten to throw me off the property.
So the list:
No hot water
Dirty room
Rude old lady
NO AC
This old lady trying to run the place and cook breakfasts for everyone in the am and yelling at people to look at the menu she busy. If you come here good luck.
This is my 1st bad review and it's well deserved.

First let me start off with hotel.com caused the problem. I canceled on 614 both rooms. Last night I got several calls at 11:30 at night from the same manager Tonya, today I seen that they tried to charge my card or did charge my card even after I canceled. I spoke to a nice grill today Maria she said they would get it all worked out. Then at 7:00 PM Tonya calls me and decides to tell me that they charge my card there's nothing I'm gonna do about it too bad with bad attitude, And continues to go on about how she's the manager she makes the decisions. I will be disputing this with

Whoever the old lady at the front who yells at the customers, is absolutely ridiculous. WARNING: check in is precisely at 3 or the old lady will yell at you even if the room is ready. Not a soul in sight at hotel yet they won't even check you in. Customer service is definitely not here. The young girl at the front was trying to be helpful buuuut then enter the old lady who yells. Just ridiculous. Otherwise the room was clean, wonderful location just minutes from downtown Tombstone, I didn't get to try the breakfast so other than the check in experience it was good.

Older hotel, basic clean rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. Our room was semi updated with laminate flooring and an in room fridge. Friendly welcoming staff is where this place absolutely shines. Came home from our nighttime ghost tour and both outdoor firepits were lit. Cook to order morning breakfast with generous helpings of eggs and anything else you may want. The pool is open but not heated. There is some deferred maintenance that needs to be done, shower ceiling had some peeling paint but water pressure in the shower was excellent. I give it five stars for hospitality.

I will recommend this hotel to everyone! My mother, daughter, and myself stayed two nights, while on a road trip, and it was by far, the best place we stayed. It may be a little out dated, but it was clean,… comfortable, and the view was amazing! The girl that worked the desk was so helpful! There was no “fake smiles” or “fake have a good day” greetings, She was a delight to talk to and did her best to make sure everyone had a stress free stay. When my daughter forgot her phone, and we didn’t notice it until half way to Ohio, they took it immediately to the

Disgustingly filthy Heat/AC unit in room - I had to use my alcohol wipes to clean the grill so we didn't breath in all the dirt.
there was only one face cloth and one face towel in bathroom even tho the reservation was made for two. One bath towel had completely shredded edges. Dubious stain on sheet, even tho they smelled clean it still looked gross.
Our breakfast choice included fried potatoes. Based on their taste they were from the day before if not older and were barely lukewarm. We threw them away.
I specifically requested management call me the following Monday hoping at least

Landmark Lookout Lodge in Tombstone, AZ
Dog friendly
In room coffee
Breakfast on site
Ice and vending machines
Pool; no jacuzzi
Responsive staff
The staff were accommodating and friendly. The facility as a whole was great for our dog walks.
I gave it three bones because the hotel is older and has quite a bit of deferred maintenance to be done.
Wi-Fi didn't work most of the 4 days we were there. Our T-Mobile phones got pretty decent reception. Good TV service.
Even though all the rooms face the highway, I didn't hear a lot of the noise in the evening and we were able to sit outside

My history buff man wanted to stop in tombstone. We were in the process of moving me from Arizona to Texas so we were hauling a Chevy Malibu with a Ford F-150 and had a very long haul ahead.
We stopped in because the hotel was close to Boothill cemetery. Little did we know the parking lot had a lighted back where we could park the dolly and my car while we explored the old west town down the road!
We stopped at the front desk and right away the receptionist was warm and welcoming and straight to the point. They will treat you like family, treat all your accommodations, and have a cute little

This is an older hotel but has been upgraded quite nice.
Rooms are a little small but very nice inside. The view of the countryside and mountains is beautiful.
This place is only minutes away from Tombstone and big nose cage so lone. Unfortunately the town has gone full blown tourist town and costs you for everything you want to see. No more free gun fights and shows.
No more free viewing of the OK corral. No more free Boot Hill.
At least this hotel is a fabulous little place to stay. Staff is super friendly and for the area the prices are extremely reasonable for the best hotel
