Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are an ancient system of medicine that is over 2,500 years old. It is based on The Tao, the Source of all living things that exist in the realms of Heaven, Earth, and humans. There is an inherent connection between all of Nature and humans, which is based on harmony, balance, and the movement of Life Force, or Chi among all living beings.

The Laws of Nature can be observed through the movement of the Seasons from Winter to Spring to Summer to Late Summer to Fall and back to Winter. My passion for Five Element Acupuncture began in 1984 when I experienced my first acupuncture treatment. In 1982, when I was twenty five years old I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. It was a major wake up call for me.

After 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation, the tumor in my chest was gone but I knew I had much more healing to go through to restore my body from the side effects of this treatment, and to truly align my entire being at a much deeper, conscious level.During my first Acupuncture treatment I felt my internal energy move in a way I had never experienced before.
Your initial treatment includes a thorough intake evaluation covering your medical and personal history, a discussion of all your health concerns, a Chinese Medicine evaluation and diagnosis, your first Acupuncture treatment, and a discussion of your treatment plan. This may include recommendations for right exercise, lifestyle, Chinese herbs, and energetic diet suggestions for your optimum health and well-being.
Water is the element of Winter. It is the gift of stillness, courage and trust, the time to rest and replenish our reserves. It is the seed under-ground, holding the blueprint of our vital essence to manifest who we are. It is the most "Yin" or inward energy. Fire is the element of Summer. It is the gift of everything in full bloom, expansion, warmth, relationship, joy, and connection.
Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive treatment method to help millions of people become well and stay well. Acupuncture promotes natural healing. It can enhance recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well-being.
Acupuncture has been employed as a health care modality for over 5,000 years. Modern science has begun to understand the secrets of this ancient medicine with the support of new studies conducted by leading scientists, hospitals and medical research facilities from all over the world. Today, acupuncture is receiving wide acceptance as a respected, valid and effective form of health care.

Wendy is a great listener, gentle and kind. I was very afraid of needles and she
talked me through the whole process. I had no pain. The needles are very thin.
Wendy has seen me through breast cancer, Lyme disease and chronic pain issues due to
a car accident, She is wonderful. I never would have made it through without her,
FIVE STARS all the way.
