This place is a GEM! I went to several others in Marin, and thought my dental care was good until my first appointment with Dr. Kovalchuk. From the ease of making the first appointment, the location and clean, bright, attractive office setting, the warm welcome when my wife and I were greeted, the friendly office staff and how attentive, thorough and fast the dentist was, the entire visit was FANTASTIC. So happy I found them.

Upon arriving at the parking lot of the facility, you are instructed to text the front desk and let them know that you have arrived. After receiving the confirmation, you are instructed to proceed to the office.
All COVID-19 precautionary measures are in place at the front desk area. All staff is wearing masks. Only immediately served patients are allowed to be at the front desk area.
During my visit, I only interacted with the medical/dental staff. While all other rooms had patients being worked on, I was never in any proximity of them. I really liked the additional air filtration systems positioned

Dr Kovalchuk was kind enough to treat me in the middle of a Covid pandemic and I am highly appreciative. His protocol and actions made me feel comfortable and safe. His dentistry knowledge and his manual dexterity are superb. Combining this with a really nice human being makes me want to give him more than 5 stars but that's the upper limit.

Dr Kovalchuk and his team are exceptional, meticulous, professional and highly experienced. ! Best dentist for the entire family for both routine AND cosmetic work. I am a proud owner of 10 beautiful veneers that Dr Kovalchuk designed. He seamlessly took out the old ones and designed these beauties - see below. He also never told me I needed the old ones replaced, it was entirely my idea. Most comfortable no pressure experience entirely lead by the patient's wishes. Our teenage son's orthodontist recommended that we see Dr. Kovalchuk to build up a baby canine tooth (he doesn't have a permanent tooth to replace it) so that his smile would look even. When our orthodontist called him a "bonding god," we figured it was hyperbole. But, after seeing the results, our orthodontist wasn't exaggerating! The tooth Dr. Kovalchuk made for him is indistinguishable from a real tooth! We couldn't stop smiling and remarking on how incredible it is. It was a real boost for my son's self image. Dr Kovalchuk by far, best dentist I have ever found. Always for the patients, always gives you best advice and does wonderful job. My crown looks great she's works great. My fillings are still part of my teeth and not going anywhere any soon (unlike done by my prior dentist). He removed my wisdom teeth with no pain. Best "friend" dentist you can possibly get .

I am so grateful for Dr. Kovalchuk and his staff! Everyone is so kind, and Dr. Kovalchuk is an amazing general dentist as well as cosmetic dentist. He replaced my front teeth ~ which had sub-standard veneers on them for many years ~ with porcelain and they look absolutely incredible now + are very functional as well.

6 stars if I could. I'm terrified of the dentist. Left it 6 years between visits. Dr K is unbelievably kind, gentle and skilled. He began with some major cleaning, done in two long visits with not a moment of discomfort. With renewed confidence I signed up for him to finish an implant I'd started 6 years ago. My previous dentist (Evangelista in SF) wouldn't tell him or me the size of the device they'd used so he had to open up the gum, clear out 6 years worth of bone growth and experiment with various sizes and brands. He spent almost 2 hours getting the job done, as always

I had the best cleaning of my life today from Allison at Dr. K's office. She was so thorough, educated me about my teeth, and informed me about new dental studies. Did you know you were supposed to floss before brushing? She was also so passionate about her career, her patients, and really did an amazing job. I look forward to seeing her again!

I love this dental office! The moment you walk in you can just feel the positive environment! Helen is sooo friendly and always takes the time to talk to me. She actually knows my name when I walk in!
As for the doctor, Dr. Kovalchuk is great! Knowledgeable, professional, experienced and sooo caring. He thoroughly answers all the questions or concerns I always have. This place does everything to make your visit stress free.
It may sound weird, but I do really look forward to my next dental appointment!

They don't get any better than Dr. Kovalchuk. Just last year I left another Marin County dentist that I'd been with for the past 20 years simply because Dr. Kovalchuk's new Mill Valley office happened to be much closer to my home than my former dentist's. However, over this past year, after having several cavities and bridges repaired as well as having had both my teeth and my gums cleaned, I've discovered that Dr. Kovalchuk is one of the best dentists that I've ever had in my life - and I'm a senior citizen going on 80 years old.

Dr Kovalchuk is attentive, thorough, put my mind at ease and right on time.
His assistant, Darlene is warm, kind and welcoming; she's super personable.
These two get 5 stars.
The receptionist gets 1 star. The only reason I didn't put up a 1 star review is because of everyone else in the office, plus the location, the feel, how well cared for the office is, easy parking, and that crazy awesome view :)

Dr. Kovalchuk recently took over this practice from my prior dentist. I was impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and warm demeanor. He was able to discern the source of my issue within a few minutes and was very considerate towards me during the treatment process ( ..I'm not a big fan of dental drills). The assistant was also very sweet and gave me some lip balm when my lips got dry :) Very happy to have him in this location. Same great bay view!!
