Most people would say communication is a key component. Actually, listening, curiosity and empathy are key. Couple's therapy is for any couples that feel like they can't get past misunderstandings, blamings, hurt, arguments or withdrawing. It's for couples where trust was broken, who feel disconnected, who experienced infidelity, or where you just don't feel like you have anything in common anymore and you've lost the feeling of emotional and/or physical intimacy.
