Next Step Treatment Center has a variety of treatment providers to meet your needs. This includes mental health therapists, substance abuse counselors, psychiatrist, and rehabilitation specialists. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. NSTC will assist all clients with accessing necessary services through our sliding fee schedule (available to eligible clients) and through connections with Health Care Access Maryland.

Next Step Treatment Center is a person-centered treatment facility that allows you to be the focus of your recovery. We provide a full continuum of care including substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment and psychiatric rehabilitation to help you find peace and restoration in your new way of life.
Our licensed staff includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Professional Counselors. Our staff also includes post-graduate clinicians who are in the process of completing their licensure requirements, as well as graduate students who are in the process of obtaining advanced degrees in psychology or social work.
At Next Step Treatment Center, we have a number of core values to give you the highest quality of care:. Accessibility: Your doctor or therapist will return your call or email within one business day, often times within hours. A call to our office will be answered promptly by one of our friendly staff members.
Promote the goal of NTSC which is: "Improving the behavioral health and wellbeing of the individuals and families in our communities." The Next Step Treatment Center Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a committee comprised of providers from the behavioral health system, advocates, and community members.

I was scheduled an interview and never received an email for the interview link or a follow-up call. When I called to follow-up they told me they pursued another candidate, I just mentioned it would have been appreciated if they would have called me to let me know since an interview was scheduled and expected and was abruptly hung up on with no apology.
The person who originally contacted me was Yvette. She was also the one I called to follow-up with my status. She was really rude. I can’t imagine how they also treat their patients. Disgusting.
