A septic certification is a process of doing a full inspection of the septic system. When doing an inspection on a septic system we will need to dig up the concrete access plugs that are large enough to get our head and shoulders into the tank. Most tanks will need to be pumped to visually inspect the inside of the septic system.
Yes, by pumping the septic tank out you are removing the sludge that drops to the bottom allowing the greywater to exit into the leach fields. Most septic tanks are buried beneath the soil about 1 foot to 4 feet deep. Once the concrete or fiberglass plugs are exposed that are on the septic tank we will pump out the tank.

This place was awesome and accommodating. I called them last min to get our septic tank pumped they came out the next day. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They explained to my wife different things we can do to improve our septic tank system. We have used them three times now and always the same kind of service.!

Based on a neighbor's recommendation we hired Old Pueblo Septic to service our septic tank. Highest recommendation. Knowledgeable, on time, and did a great & thorough job. Hosed the tank after draining and did an inspection. The access point required digging; which the tech did quickly putting the dirt & decorative gravel on a tarp. After completion, the refill area looked almost seamless. Use this company if you want the job done correctly without having to babysit anyone.

Isaac from Old Pueblo Septic came to pump our septic tank. We've used Old Pueblo Septic before, so he came prepared with photos from the last time they dug out our tank's ports, which made it easy for him to find the markers they left last time, so he knew exactly where to dig. Smart and super efficient! Isaac was really friendly too. Extremely professional service. I highly recommend!

Old Pueblo Septic & Drain Service came prepared and on time, considering we decided to have this done on the spur of the moment. They explained everything they were doing and made important modifications to repair the surface area above the tank prior to emptying it. Incredibly professional, polite, and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend and will continue to use their services the next time we need the tank emptied.
