Jim Hodge is a second generation Realtor & retired Army Lt. Colonel. Licensed since 1978, Jim is the President and Principal Broker of Apex Ventures Inc. Jim has two children and three grandchildren. Jim is a business graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. He has worked on several different Realtor committees and has filled all officer positions for the local NARPM chapter, as well as serving as a city councilman.

Seeing the lack of professionalism on both sides from Stephanie Wilson is pretty sad. The shear fact that when you bring facts to her she will bring in personal attacks instead of taking accountability for a little mess up. As a board member, it is hard to get vendors to work with our property due to her because she is quick to go off at the mouth with them, and business owners do not enjoy that. Especially when she has no idea what she is talking about. She also paid more than one of the same bill a couple of times in the same month and her response was "oh, well we will just have a credit

I am owner of a property of an HOA association under management of Stephanie Wilson from Apex. I have been extremely impressed with Stephanie as HOA manager; she has been super easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. There were lot of issues that I needed HOA attention; Stephanie and Apex management have been incredibly responsible and took care of everything that was relevant. Just a couple of highlights from our relationship with Apex.
* received an email indicating I had not paid my dues in 3 months , they also included a late fee notice. My dues are automatically paid and when I sent this to them, they ignored me , I have sent 3 emails to them asking if they corrected their error and explained I won’t be paying the late fee - NO RESPONSE
* apex didn’t pay our HOA water bill and the water was shut off
* there were issues with our finances that we could never get answered
* our insurance wasn’t appropriate
* glad we left !

Grant and the team at Apex has been great for our HOA. They helped us renegotiate a previous trash contract that had been written without HOA approval, fixed our book keeping from previous book keeper who didn't keep up with what was where, as well as got us the appropriate insurance the previous HOA management company didn't tell us we needed. Grant walks our property weekly and will relay anything he thinks might be of concern, or just takes the initiative and does it himself. We have several properties that are managed by different AirBNB managers, and sometimes they don't clean up after themselves

Lost $1000 to these people for no good reason. Our house we rented with Apex got flooded out and we had to leave. It took them almost 2 months to get us back our deposit. Had to call several times about it. Finally get the deposit in the mail and I find out they are keeping two thirds of our deposit for themselves because of some things we did not retrieve from the house. My landlord mentioned nothing of this any of the times I called him. And he even signed the check. He told us to just get all the things we wanted from the house. I didn't know he was going to charge us $1000 if we didn't take

Me and my 3 roommates have had nothing but pleasant interactions with Apex Ventures. They have been responsive to our maintenance requests and Ethan our property manager has always been prompt answering emails within 1-2 business days and sometimes even calling personally. We also have been given direct access to the property owner if we need it. Over all good experience

I have rented a house for 2 years that was managed by Apex and Ethan has been the agent who was our go to Person. We had fallen trees, water heater that went bad and skunks inhabiting under us, and got in touch with Ethan and all was quickly resolved. We have bought a house and we are moving away, but we have been very happy with the neighborhood and Apex.

Apex is the company our HOA board hired to manage our community. They are unprofessional and unresponsive! We have had a massive issue dealing with them on a drainage project that has gone very wrong and has severely damaged (and continuous to flood homes) our property as well as the two properties on either side of ours. They have not handled this situation with any sense of urgency. We have emailed and called and requested a resolution many, many times now. This past week they have not responded to a single email we have sent. We gave them an opportunity to work with us on a resolution before

We are owner of one of the houses in Brittany park dr, first we send our payment every month if they lazy a.... worker deposit it one day late , they charge us, when I call the manager; she pretend like she is so busy just wanna hang up on me, they are always late to cut the grass, and they don't care about basketball holder that always fall in our yard from next door neighbor I bet the next door doesn't get charge, Apex has the worse services. And most racist people working there, I do not for sure recommend them to anybody if you're looking for home associations this isn't

Wonderful company to rent from. Reliable service when it came to having maintenance service at the house. The property was very affordable and plenty of space for the price. We leased a home through Apex Ventures for five years. It was okay at first, but eventually the homeowner started inquiring if we paid the rent on time. That was pretty insulting and we provided proof the rent was automatically deducted on the first of the month and we were never late and never missed a payment - Never not once in all five years. Even printed out and shared our rental payment history with the owner. The owner complained Apex was far behind on paying him, and wanted to know where his money was going. After that Mr. Hodge then sent us an email telling us not to communicate with

Alex ventures is very happy to collect your fees and remind you when they are late. Things they are not so quick to do, lawn maintenance, building upkeep, lighting repair (two front bulbs have been out since I moved in eight years ago), respect its residents, as well as elect a hoa president who can articulate ones thoughts and express the interests of other members.
