Charlie attended Baylor School and the University of South Carolina for his undergraduate degree where he double majored in finance and management. Charlie began work as a personal financial adviser in Charlotte, North Carolina after he finished at South Carolina. Charlie then attended law school at Mississippi College.
John Dixon grew up outside Nashville, Tennessee, but has called Atlanta home for over twelve years. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1997 and the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2001, where he finished in the top 10% of his class.

John is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Tennessee and New York, and has over 18 years of experience representing all types of clients, including Fortune 100 companies and small business owners; however, today John finds it most rewarding to serve clients facing legal challenges in criminal matters and personal injury claims in Georgia.
Mary Ivon is a Chattanooga transplant by way of Shreveport, Louisiana and Oxford, Mississippi. Mary Ivon obtained her BA at the University of Mississippi. After completing her undergraduate at Ole Miss, Mary Ivon moved to Chattanooga to pursue a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Richmont Graduate University.
Avery Ellis was born and raised in Southern Oregon. As a new resident to Chattanooga Tennessee, Avery joined Yates and Wheland in the fall of 2019. Avery brings with her a broad spectrum of customer service and office coordination experience. Avery began her professional experience working for a Federally Qualified Health Center that served the vulnerable population in her county.
