No longer in KOP. Now just a take out. Menu now more tailored to an Americanized Chinese food audience. Ok. Orange beef still pretty good. Food overall competently prepared. However, do NOT get the Boba. Tea tastes fine but the beads are likely fake. Clearly not real tapioca. Too perfectly round and rubbery, almost like tires. Tastes synthetic.
Interestingly, owner may not be same as before in KOP but I swear lady taking my order was same woman who waitressed me many times when we dined in years ago. So maybe some continuity, good or bad ...

Food was very good, but they chopped up the red peppers in the Hunan dish. I have never seen so many and so small in a dish. Usually the peppers are larger and easy to pick out. You really aren't suppose to eat them. I like my Hunan hot, but it was very difficult to eat.
The picture below is only 1/2 the quantity I picked out

We recently moved to the area and was looking for chinese takeout. found some reviews for this place and decided to go for it. didn't disappoint!! so nice through the phone and they were willing to go a bit further for our delivery. they said it'd be a longer time, yet they got to us in about 25 minutes (!!). food was delicious and price was great for the portion sizes.

Tried Pin Wei for the first time this past week. Ho Choi (the previous restaurant) was our go to for Chinese take-out so I was excited that Pin Wei had favorable reviews.
I ordered Sesame chicken dinner combo platter (came with fried rice on the side) and steamed pork dumplings on the side. I wasn't overly impressed with the dumplings, the pork on the inside had a weird texture and I didn't love the dipping sauce. The sesame chicken was pretty average, and I didn't enjoy the fried rice. It was on the chewier side and tasted like it was boiled instead of fried. Overall, it wasn

We used to go to the Pin Wei in King of Prussia, and we were delighted to find out that this place was open in Bryn Mawr. A lot of their dishes are the same as the KOP location that closed. I recommend the water boiled beef, the Szechuan crispy string beans, dan dan noodles, and the dry pepper shredded beef. Great customer service too.

Inedible.. The tofu home style was actually inedible. I tried my partner's vegetarian Mei fun and had to force myself to eat them just so I wouldn't starve. It was horrible. The General Tsos tofu was a bright orange but no taste. The beef mei fun had decent beef but they used the wrong noodles. Even the rice wasn't that good. Will never order from here again.

Took our order even though just outside their delivery area. Order was piping hot and fresh. Have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area and finally found it. Every items was delicous and full of flavor. Portions were good sized. The egg rolls were some of the best we have had. And they do Mu Shu! Great selection on the menu. Can't wait to try more items.

I love authentic spicy Chinese dishes. Not those blanded down American pallette versions. I ordeed pickled fish soup (which is a huge meal in and of itself) which was made to perfection. Not too sour either. This was from thier Sichuan menu which is the more authentic dishes. I also ordered chicken Mei Fun and told him to make it spicy. It was very flavorful and spicy and cooked to perfection! I am so happy to have found authentic Chinese take out! Oh and it was ready pretty quick. Love It!!

Pros:

not too greasy/oily/heavy/gross
good flavors
good portion size for cost
Cons:
food was a little room temp, chewy, and tough
honey walnut chicken was mostly breading
general tzo's chicken was dry and tough

Our favorite Chinese place closed down a few months ago and we've been looking for a new spot; so we decided to check out Pin Wei. The food was good and fresh. We got the House special Lo Mein, General Tso's chicken, crab rangoons, and egg rolls. Normally lo mein is super greasy but this one wasn't greasy at all which was great!! The crab rangoons had a great flavor! They were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was ready by the expected pick up time. Overall great experience, I would definitely go back.

I was excited to hear Ho Choi was closing and hearing an "extension" of Pin Wei was going to take it's place. I saw the grand opening sign and came in. I also just found out Pin Wei in KOP is closed, so I asked the staff if this was just the new Pin Wei location. I was told they are completely separate owners and no relations...
I ordered pork fried rice for myself and some General Tso's for a co-worker. I tried some of his meal and the food tasted really good and had a really nice kick of spice to it. The pork fried rice was pretty good and probably something I would
