Fringe Dance Studio offers unparalleled dance classes in a fun and collaborative learning environment, where dancers are treated like family and encouraged to achieve their fullest potential both inside and outside of the studio. Fringe is located in the Orange County city of Mission Viejo, CA, and is open to dancers of all skill levels from across Southern California and beyond.
Services
The mission of Fringe Dance Studio is to provide students ages 3 through 18 with a fun, positive, and well-rounded dance education experience. Aside from offering a comprehensive training regimen, we also help students develop personally by using dance as a motivational tool to excel beyond the studio.
Core is our main level of competitive dance and requires a basic amount of commitment. Core dancers attend at least one competition and/or convention per season, follow a weekly training schedule for classes and rehearsals, and perform within the community as needed. Core is open to dancers of all ages and skill levels.
Fringe highly encourages our students to dress according to the genre of dance they are studying. Following this guideline establishes a sense of professionalism in class, helps unify students, diminishes economic and social barriers between students, increases a sense of belonging and studio pride, and improves attendance.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding as we try to keep our dancers and their families safe during these challenging times. Dancers, parents, and employees are encouraged to self-monitor symptoms and stay home when they are not well. We recommend parents drop-off and pick-up their dancers, and we have breaks in between classes to allow time for dancers and employees to transition.
All classes run for 50 minutes and placement is determined by the Director (with input from other instructors as needed). Initial placement is based on a student's age with consideration for his/her skill level and ability and prior experience. The first month at Fringe is important for determining correct placement for a dancer, and every effort will be made to ensure students are placed according to their current skill level and potential.

My daughter has been with this studio since the end of June and she loves it here so much! She has grown in confidence and skills. She is so eager to learn.
The owner, Ms. Estee is extremely helpful in guiding your child to the right class to fit their personality. She is also super responsive to emails and phone calls. I also love that she doesn’t push students to be competitive.
To me, it seems like their main focus is to cultivate a child’s love for dance.

This review is solely based on my and my daughters experience with Ms. Estee and Fringe Dance Studio.
My 9yr old daughter had been asking to join dance for what seems like forever, and I had decided to check out this studio in early 2020. Then COVID hit and we placed all our children's sports on hold. Fast forward to 2021, we couldn't be happier with our choice to join and be a part of the Fringe Studio family.
I'm a new dance mom but I did to my research and because my daughter started dancing at an older age - I wanted her to feel comfortable easing into a new sport to her. Many dance studios

We joined Fringe a year ago. We love Mrs Estee and the teachers at the studio. Estee’s love and passion for dance shines through with her teaching and management of her studio. I love how professional and organized she is and you can’t beat her love and care for her students. My daughter has been dancing for over 6 years and we are very happy with our move to Fringe.

My daughter has been taking the summer toddler class here and absolutely loves it. I was worried she’d get bored and not be able to focus since classes are 50 minutes long but she enjoys every second. The first half of her class is ballet, then kids put on their tap shoes for the second half. Ms Estee is an amazing instructor and is incredibly patient and always so enthusiastic. She isn’t overly serious or strict but still takes command of the class so that it doesn’t turn into a wild circus of dancing toddlers. There are many other dance studios that are closer to our home but I don’t

Estee is such an amazing instructor. She is patient, fun, talented, energetique and its obvious she is passionate about her job. My daughter, who is 4 year old, loves her
class so much and ask all week to be Saturday so she can go to dancing class. We are so glad we find this place. Thank you Miss Estee!!!
