Michael Cates and his wife, Jodie, started a one-man construction company while Michael was working as a full-time firefighter in the Dallas area. Over the years, business began to grow, as did their family. In 2005, having a 3-year-old son and 5-year-old twin girls, Michael and Jodie decided it was time to build a house that better suite the families needs and began construction on their dream home.
After the build was complete, the family and business moved to the Cedar Creek Lake community. Today the Cates family are driven to give back to the community they love, where they have been active members in numerous organizations. Firehouse Construction built our lakehouse for us and the whole process, from beginning to end, was exceptional. We are using their construction services for another project and so far, it’s been just as easy as the last time we worked together. Michael Cates and his team are professional, honest and their craftsmanship is excellent.
