John Christ Winery

We tried peach, raspberry, blackberry & special blend. Very generous samples, $1 each. The bottle of blackberry was only $8.49. The wines were all pretty good, all very sweet! The peach one just left a bad aftertaste in my mouth.

Always a fun place to go with friends. BYOF (food) since they don't have food service available. Wine is just ok but the experience is fantastic.

Giving a 4 star because of the hours. I hope they change back to regular hours. Now other wise this is a great place to meet up with family, friends or partner. Stop in (check the hours) and grab a bottle of Vino!!

I'm not a fan of Ohio wines. They're just too sweet for me. The Chardonnay was decent. The reason I won't return here is the way we were treated when presenting a gift certificate. Apparently (and I'm not sure if it's legal), their policy is use it or lose it which is not printed on the certificate. Our gift certificate was $50. They had no food to offer because of Covid. They refused to either give us change or to put the balance amount on the certificate for future use. They suggested that we use it for the tip as there wasn't enough to buy a bottle of wine. They got themselves a very nice tip

John Christ is a very enjoyable neighborhood winery! Meet your friends there with some board games or cards, some cheese and crackers or snacks. Then buy a few bottles of wine ( their Special Blend is my favorite) and have a wonderful time!!!! They have indoor seating right now and plenty of outdoor seating in the summer! You won't be disappointed!

Homey little winery. Wine cocktails are creative and delicious. Staff is super friendly and relaxed. Outdoor space is pleasant.

The various wine tasting & hospitality was very fun. The variety of wine has great flavor. Also, we met some nice people & couples, that we were able to positive interact with . We will definitely be back for a great diverse evening!

Nice small winery with a quiet atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the cheese and sausage plate was delicious!

Great wines, and a great wine bar. Unique mixed drinks featuring wine and mixers. Samples are available on all the wine so you don't have to buy a whole glass of something you've never heard of, let alone a whole bottle. I'm more of a sweet wine person and they hit the spot perfectly and i always end up taking some home to. The parking lot is small and gravel but it never seems to be full.

Nice laid-back atmosphere with a lovely back patio area. Much broader variety of wines than I expected from an Ohio winery, and I liked every one I tasted! Tried my first clam bake here and it was sooo good.
