We are an Urban Winery located in Syracuse, upstate NY. The term Urban Winery means that in Lakeland we choose to produce our wines in an urban setting, closer to our customers as part of our vision to make our wines more accessible and less overwhelming. Aligned with our vision to get closer to you, we have developed great partnerships with a variety of liquor stores across the state of New York. Below you will find our retail location separated by County. At Lakeland, trying to bring our wines closer to you, that's why you will find us at most festivals in New York State.

I had a great experience at this winery. We visited while Will was working and he was phenomenal from start to finish. Definitely check it out when you're in Syracuse!

Paid the deposit to reserve the space for my mom’s surprise birthday party and wine tastings. I received multiple confirmations. The owner never showed up to do the tasting the night of the party and left the guests sitting in the parking lot. There was no call, no email, no warning. The next day I called and the owner had no excuse for the no show. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and had an amazing time! The owner, Andy, was so welcoming, even gave us a few extra wines to taste. Left with some delicious wine and great memories. Check this place out!

I spent quite a few years making wine with Andy. He taught me all the ins and outs of wine making. We all met once a month to taste different wines and talk over what we thought of the wines that were brought. I am now retired to southern Florida but miss the days of making my own and meeting with Andy and friends. Make this place a regular stop.

The place is pretty easy to find. Really cozy inside. The tasting is a great deal and there are a lot of wines to choose from. Everyone is really friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth checking out if you've never been before. The desert wines are very good.

I attended the fingerlakes wine festival this year, and could not believe how rude the women working this table were to customers. There was very little interaction between them and the tasters, they did not smile, and looked so unhappy to be there. One pourer looked beyond annoyed as a taster was trying to decide which wine to try and took a few seconds to decide. I watched this happen with a friend and we decided to walk away from the booth before getting any samples. We were having too good of a time to deal with grumpy people. We will be sure to skip this table every year we go!

Full disclosure. I did not taste any wines, but not because I didn't want to. I stopped by this winery at a wine festival with about 5 friends. We were refused samples because we did not have the festival glass with us. We brought our own plastic glasses with us for safety reasons. The women working the booth had very negative attitudes and were very nasty/rude. We were not denied any samples at any other booth and we felt not welcomed at this specific booth. We have a wine tour planned next month and we will make it a point not to visit this winery.

We made an appointment on the internet for 12:00pm on a Sunday, but when we pulled up, the building was dark and it was kinda sketchy. And we didn't see any grapes...

I needed to make an appt. to redeem a gift certificate. The main voice message at the winery suggests you call the owner's cell for this very reason. When I did this the owner seemed putout that I was calling. He explained, in a manner that implied I am an idiot, that I could be using the Internet / his website instead. I am very computer savvy, but the steps for the process of obtaining an appt. via the website are not at all clear and straight forward on the winery's website. I am giving two stars for terrible customer interaction. I reserve the right to change this review after
