Izzo's White Barn Winery (IWBW) is a family owned and operated boutique farm winery and private event venue. We are located in Cayuga NY along historic U.S. Rt. 20 between Auburn and Seneca Falls in the Fingerlakes region. We specialize in small group tastings and personalized attention. Along with the signature White Barn the venue features our petite vineyards, two ponds and a large green space for recreating or celebrating your special event.
The meadow areas are hay fields supplying a nearby organic cattle farm. Wines grown on the property are from Cornell University and the University of Minnesota grape breeding programs. They have been selected for their cold hardy tolerance and diverse characteristics. You can take it all in while enjoying a glass on our patio.

Services
Queen of the Finger Lakes whites. Our Riesling is a great example of the the wine that makes the region a destination for wine lovers. Excellent fruit, a hint of rhubarb, clean finish. A new grape from the University of Minnesota, lovely nose of apricot and tropical fruit, with a crisp finish. A mainstay in the Finger Lakes region, huge nose of apples and pears, great with broiled seafood, mild cheese and poultry.

I have been meaning to write this review for quite awhile (actually for about three years!), and I regret not writing it sooner because I found this place to be a real gem.
I had come to Upstate New York to see a production my friend was directing at the nearby Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn, NY. On her day off, we explored some of the Finger Lakes area, which she was fairly familiar with having attended Ithaca College as an undergraduate.

Great winery! My wife and i stopped by as we were passing through the area. The gentleman giving the wine tasting was very friendly and knowledgeable. We are wine novices so he gave great descriptions and backgrounds on each wine we tried. Overall the variety of wine was fantastic and we left with two bottles with plans to come back for more!
