District, announced that the school's name has recently transitioned to Urban Discovery High School.

Urban Discovery High School students regularly participate in meaningful and exciting activities that unleash their creative potential and business sense. Our design-thinking curriculum rooted in project-based learning helps prepare our students for college and jobs that did not exist when I was in high school.
What makes Urban Discovery Schools unique is our core approach based design thinking best practices in partnership with the UC San Diego Design Lab. Our approach involves a five stage reflective and interconnected processes: connect, discovery, ideate, create, and evaluate. These are educational based adaptation of the design-thinking system developed by IDEO and the Stanford d.school.

Urban Discovery High School students benefit from small class sizes in a smaller school providing significant one-on-one time with highly qualified faculty. We don't believe students can get the time and attention they deserve in large classes. Students get noticed in our classrooms and labs and learning is enhanced.
