Sound Ave Bistro uses only the freshest, off-the-boat seafood, and the finest, locally grown produce in-season. We strive to make every guest's dining experience enjoyable in every way. I stopped in for lunch, with a party of 6 and was amazed at the beautiful renovations and how welcoming the staff was.

The food is AMAZING. Portions are large. Great atmosphere. Live music, is a nice classy touch. Prices are average. I had an awesome time. The steak was Hugh and cooked to perfection. The chicken sandwich was crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. The steak sandwich, full of flavor. I HAD A GREAT TIME!!!!

Had friends who wanted seafood and in non tourist season not many restaurants are opened more than 4 days a week on the north fork. This place serves large portions. They are contributing to the obesity problem in America. For warned.
The service is good however they need to improve check-in from handicap ramp entrance.
Calamari was good and not rubbery. Raw clams was quite fresh. The entree linguine with clams was just so so. Problem was 1/2 lb of pasta with 6 small clams in a too watery broth. Topped with a sprinkle of chopped clams. The pan seared tuna was served with roasted fingerlings

Customer service was a amazing! Sat us quickly, very attentive. The kids mac and cheese was delish and the kids enjoyed it too. My husband ordered the lobster roll and I got the salmon blt. I honestly didn't know what to expect from my salmon blt but it was beyond what I expected! Can't wait to come back!

First off, Meaghan is a Saint! The whole staff was super friendly and even though I had a noisy 2 year old, the staff tried to keep him entertained. I loved that they had a kids menu and a plastic water cup. My husband had the fish tacos and I had the lobster grilled cheese. The lobster grilled cheese was AMAZING and worth every dime. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for an incredible and memorable experience!

First want to start off by saying our server was awesome. He truly made it a great dining experience and make me want to come back. I feel bad I can't remember his name, but he said he worked there for 4 years and told us about what his parents had liked when they came to eat there.
Everything he recommended was great.

Food was okay. Atmosphere is cute. Staff was friendly. I did not like the vacuuming while I was eating, or the sound of metal silverware being wrapped in paper the entire meal. It was terrible. I'd advise the owner to have his staff wrap the metal utensils in the back kitchen area, to do it in the dining room made my experience poor.

Such a Wonderful staff here at Sound Bistro. Drinks are a fun variety of classics and fun / flirty twists. Daily specials are without a doubt a added bonus to this already fantastic menu. Lobster bisque soup was chock-full of hearty peices of meat and a beautiful zest that was golden till the last drop. The beet salad is large and in charge paired with candied pecans to give a great balance to a perfect plate. The Ruben was perfection as well as the fried shrimp platter. Can't go wrong here.

Waitress was great, it's a nice place but.... Food took forever after ordering and I can only speak to my meal, I ordered the seared tuna it was good but the portion size was so small I though I was being pranked, I'm not saying don't go here but I am saying don't order the seared tuna. I mean 4 tiny pieces? At least put it on a pile of rice or something try to make it look like a decent amount of food or actually better yet give the patron some actual tuna.

Was here a month or so ago, left a 3 star review. Somethings were better this time. The lobster grilled cheese was FANTASTIC! Should be on the regular menu. The fries that came with, meh. Could've been seasoned fries or something. My beet salad had plenty of beets, fresh crisp greens, candied nuts and I added griiled shrimp. There wer large and very nicely done. The beets were not very flavorful at all, obviously dumped from a can, watery. Roasting may have helped. Wine...I ordered a Rose. It was good, but they served it to me in plastic cup. Maybe because we sat outside? Took away from

While the food is great and the owner is a cordial guy. His restaurant ownership skills are weak.
He is alienating the local patrons that supported him through the off seasons and the pandemic.
His female manager is inexperienced and lacks the customer service and staff directing skills to effectively execute the position. He has many qualified people on staff that understand what it takes to keep the clientele coming back. He may want to remember great staff is hard to find.

After a day sipping wine at a local winery for a friend's birthday we ventured out to find dinner. This restaurant was recommended by some locals so we happily went to see what the hype was about. Glad we did!
Upon arrival they did take some time to set up the eating area. It seemed like they didn't have a lot of staff. There was one waitress Julia who was great, but she seemed like the only one taking orders.

We waited 30 minutes for a table--which was fine until we finally got seated and saw so many tables available.
Seated on back patio that has 4 tables. There were three servers handling 4 tables yet took over 20minutes for someone to come over and take our order or even ask us about drinks.
Then another 25 minutes to bring us water, for a table of 5 he brought 3 waters and never came back. We had to beg the bus boy to get us water and the waiter finally came back with a carafe. We received

Bartender was rude it was our first time there but it was apparent there were regulars with whom she was friendly. Rules are rules and they were only followed with us forcing us to buy a cheese platter to eat while we waited at the bar for a table. No other appetizers were available because the kitchen was too busy we were told. Others called bu their first names upon arriving just had drinks. Then we were told pay up before you go to a table we can't add the bar bill to your food at the table. Ok.

This is a standout restaurant in the vastly farming and winery area of Baiting Hollow and surroundings. It was a quiet lunchtime yet we had live background guitar music. Very obviously, it is an evening hotspot judging from its additional closed and open spaces. What impressed me the most was its impeccable decor and crisp and clean interior with a color scheme of white and blue. The cob salad was excellent as was the service.

Came here after enjoying a day at the wineries. The menu choices were nice. The ambiance was kind of low key and the menu had decent choices. Our service was where the restaurant lost stars for the rating. Our waitress had a little bit of an attitude. We also didn't like how they could not accommodate my husband with grilling the chicken sandwich instead of having it as in on menu (fried) because he suffers from heartburn. My friend's meal came out like 10 minutes after the rest of our party's leaving us staring at our plates until her's finally came out.

The menu has been cut down to a quarter of what it was the price has gone up quality down warm beer terrible drink when it used to be my favorite worse of all slightly warm food empty restaurant. And still waited long for our food
