Located east of the Shinnecock Canal in the village of Hampton Bays, Edgewater Restaurant welcomes visitors with soothing views and fabulous food. Dine on the deck, one of the most desired vantages overlooking Shinnecock Bay, or inside where the expanse of windows provides gorgeous views along with a bright, open atmosphere.

Any one of the candlelit tables offers an inviting setting for the array of Italian fare, seafood dishes, sizzling steaks & gourmet pizzas. Reservations at Edgewater are NOT guaranteed to be seated at reservation time, while 90% of reservations are seated within 5 minutes of arrival there are occasions where the timing of prior guests does not allow for prompt seating.

Meatballs are spectacular!!!! Petit filet was good but without the gorgonzola, I'm not really a fan. I like the grizzled and fat....my fault perhaps for ordering that particular cut but what a great portion size and so tender!!! One of favorite restaurants

Absolutely loved our dinner - and the service was outstanding (Kristy). I had the Chicken Stracciatella, my date had the seared tuna. After we enjoyed the lava cake, also delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

The view is nice and the staff is very friendly. Rachel was my waitress and although it was crazy busy she tried her best to be attentive to our needs. The food was great and great portion sizes. The only thing was my steak was spicy, but do not remember if that stated in the menu. Their desserts are amazing especially the chocolate cake. Little pricy, but it is the hamptons.

Edgewater gets 5 stars from me even though my server disappeared for over 10 minutes while I waited to close my check. Who does that? My busser was amazing, very attentive. The seafood was incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the location. I can't wait to go back!

Busy restaurant, was able to be seated in 15 minutes. They asked me indoor or outdoor, I actually got to sit outside with a view of the water, prime seating to me. The Salmon was cooked perfectly and Veal shank delicious. I would recommend Calimari also.

I did not have reservations on a Friday night and the host still found us a lovely table with no wait. Everyone was so accommodating. Servers were great with my little son. His food came out immediately, he loved his fresh strawberries and then his ravioli. We had the linguine w clams and the rigatoni bolognese. So good!! Will love to go again.

The restaurant just re-opened after 2 months of closure. Staff members are very friendly and attentive. Food is served fresh and price is just right. Very cool ambiance.

Such a cute atmosphere here - service was great and they had an outdoor seating area with heating. Food was delicious, the margarita and rum punch pitchers were super yummy also! The view is great and all around, this is an amazing place to grab dinner around sunset!
