Dynamic Performance and Therapy is a community of experienced physical therapists in the La Crosse area who believe in a holistic approach to your healthcare and offer a fresh approach to help you move better, feel better, and live better! We coordinate your care with your healthcare team, such as your provider, personal trainer, coach, or anyone guiding you on your path to better health and performance.
Dry needling is a technique physical therapists use for the treatment of pain and movement problems. The technique uses a thin "dry" needle, one without medication or injection, inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle. Physical therapists use dry needling to release or inactivate trigger points to relieve pain, decrease muscle spasm, and/or improve movement.
Our devotion to women's health and wellness starts with a select group of physical therapists and fitness professionals who have received specialized training in the treatment and education of women's health issues. Here at Dynamic, our women's health team offers an innovative approach to women's health in a supportive and comfortable environment.
After consultation, our massage therapist will integrate several techniques for a session designed specifically for you. If you are working in conjunction with one of our physical therapists, your session may also be supplemented with exercises to address musculoskeletal strength and imbalances. I've had excellent results working with Mike and Marci. Mike cured my knee pain quickly with dry needling and prescribed exercises to resolve ongoing issues. Marci cured my vertigo with one treatment and prescribed exercises to help with motion sickness. I highly recommend them. They're professional, thorough, and deliver results!

I was experiencing some bad calf pain, and prior to my visit, I expected to take a couple of weeks off from running. Jake worked on my calf with dry needling during my first appointment, and I was back out running again the next day with only minor soreness. He also gave me a couple of helpful suggestions for my running form that have significantly increased my speed. My experience here has exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend Dynamic Physiotherapy to anyone looking for a new PT!

LOVED your class! Why? 1. You make it fun 2. You give reasons why we are doing a particular movement 3. Individual attention 4. You are safe, I never got hurt (I always get hurt in other classes b/c I do not know how to do something in a safe manner) 5. You build on movements, small increases as you introduce an exercise. 6. As the weeks went by, I continued to feel better and better. 7. These are all exercises I can do on my own - no ridiculous equipment needed. THANK YOU!

I started seeing Matt H. for low back and hip/knee pain. My first appointment exceeded my expectations and was better than my past PT experience in dealing with this issue. In 2020, I fell and broke my leg and ankle. After my surgery my flexibility and mobility in my ankle was very poor. I met with Michael Borst at Dynamic Performance and Therapy. Through his treatment and exercises I was able to restore mobility and flexibility, weight bear, walk and now run. Michael did a great job of pushing me but also listening to when things didn't feel right. I know I would not be where I am today physically without Michaels help.
