Carpinteria Nails

My experience at Carpinteria Nails was not the best at all. I asked for a mani and pedi. They made my big toe bleed and when I asked for a simple nail design for my nails they told me they could not do it which was fine so I asked for little flowers. (The ones every nail salon knows how to do) The nails came out horrible and super smeared. Not to mention they charged me 100 dollars for it! Definitely not worth your time.

We had a great pedicure! Not a lot of color options but she did a great job and was so sweet! We will definitely go back. Highly recommended

Went last minute with my dad sister and my service dog and they were happy to see us all! We did have to wear our masks the entire time. But was still relaxing

They did a great job considering covid restrictions. We sat outside but the weather was very pleasant. They even had music piping out there which was a nice added touch. We were very happy with their service!

Sort of a long story, but I'll do my best to condense the story. I went to a nail salon close to a friend's house (about 45 minutes away from where I live). I had never been there before and just popped in because it was on my way, and in a nice area. I asked them for an SNS (dipping powder) manicure and wanted them to make it a French. Everything was fine until the very end when they put the final top coat on (this is when the true color comes out and it becomes very shiny - before this step it looks very dull and it's difficult to spot imperfections). This is absolutely the best nail salon in Carpinteria. I've been going to Fon for more than 10 years. She is not only talented and professional, she is a lovely and caring woman. Ken and Fon run a great business that is always full of loyal local customers. Don't believe the sour grapes from a few!

I thought that Phuong and Ken were very professional. They did my nails and I think they look beautiful. Phoung removed the bad polish I got somewhere else and Ken did the cats' eye 13 gel polish. He was careful to seal it at the end and would ask me what I thought about it as he went along. He was courteous and professional. The other reviews are really surprise me! While I was there some other ladies would pop their heads in and say hello. The other customers were happy and seemed like regulars. This is the ONLY nail salon in Carpinteria that I would go to.

Worst nail place ever! Idk what the lady's name is that did my nails but everything i wanted she just says no or i can't!! Offered no help or other options and was rough with my fingers! Then at time of payment charged me for something we didnt even do. Attitude problem and charged 15 extra for a design that looks like do do and not what i wanted at all. Fix your attitudes and be more helpful. In 19 years of getting my nails done this is the very first time i didn't tip and i am a very GENEROUS TIPPER! NEVER AGAIN!

I’ve been a longtime customer for 24 years and highly recommend Carpinteria Nails. Not only do you always get good service they are wonderful people that care first most about others and are completely devoted to their community. If you are looking for a clean well kept shop with sweet, kind people this is the place to go!!!

They took my last minute walk in, everyone was so pleasant to talk and joke with, attentive to delivering a wonderful experience, and my nails are beautiful, plus the price was great. I wish my town had a salon like this!

This was my 2nd time going here. Both times Ken did my nails...& this will be the LAST time. He is rude & unprofessional. I was trying to figure out what color I wanted my (gel) nails and since it was difficult to see actual color of polish via faded label on bottles, I unscrewed top (of bottle) to look at actual color-He got VERY upset w/me!

In Carpinteria visiting from out of town, we stopped in to Carpinteria Nails for pedicures! The salon is clean & bright. Fon & Nina both did a wonderful job, they were quick without rushing. We enjoyed chatting with Fon. I was also able to breastfeed my little one while getting my nails done-bonus! We will be back next time we are in town.

Pretty terrible pedicure. The massage was like 30 seconds of light stroking which was odd. Polish was kind of clumpy and overall not a great experience.

They ladies here are absolutely GEMS. Great local spit. I always send my mom here when she comes to California to visit me. My mom ran a salon for years in Nj so we are all pretty picky about service. This place is top notch.

Yesterday two of my friends and I went to Carpinteria Nails. The salon is friendly, clean, and bright. Ken and the other 2 women working in the salon provided excellent service. My feet feel wonderful and my nails shine. We definitely will be returning. GREAT way to start a day!

Very nice people! Truly care about their customers experience. I would recommend making an appointment because there are only three workers.

They were busy with other clients.. there were no one else around.

I went in there and asked for a spa pedicure, expecting my nails to be properly cleaned and done. What I got instead was horrible service. The man who attended me did not clean around my nails at all and did a terrible job cutting the cuticles. I had to ask him to cut my cuticles again and he got annoyed. He did not file my nails at all. After he painted my nails he himself saw what a terrible job he had done because he suggested painting with a darker color. My favorite nail salon near Linden. Although the salon is a bit small, they give you great service! They are very friendly and do a great job at acrylic nails and Pedicures. I recommend this salon over any other on Linden, I recommend making an appointment, but they are worth the wait. Thank you Carpinteria Nails!

I visit Carpinteria every year for a few months and every time I come back they are always so welcoming and excited to see me. Ken does a great pink and white and I love Fon's pedicure they last at least a month even walking barefoot on the sand. It is very convenient location and good parking. I highly recommend this nail salon.

Ken and Fong are awesome! They are very accommodating and truly care about their customers...local or not! If anyone had a bad experience, either they didn't speak up, were poor patrons, or asked for what couldn't be delivered by ANY salon!
I'd drive from San Diego to get my pedicure done...& once I moved to the area, now I get my nails and toes done there, driving 25 miles!
What could be better? Sit at the beach if you're a little early for your appointment or grab a glass of wine at Corktree or Señor Frogs! Life is good! RELAX and enjoy your time being pampered!

I went to Carpinteria Nails about 45 minutes before closing time without an appointment because it was the only salon in town still open after 6pm on a Saturday. Though there were only two people working, they took me immediately. They also were willing to take 5 customers that came in after I did although it was past their closing time. Though the feeling of the salon was not quite luxurious, it was surely because there were so many customers. Prices were pretty standard, I paid $28 with tip for my spa pedicure.
