Here is an example of our latest CNG installation that we did for The Ohio State University. This is their brand new compressed natural gas fueling station for school vehicles. Services
DeFabCo employs our own designers, fabricators, riggers, millwrights, pipe fitters, certified welders and sheet metal mechanics. Our typical shop and field services are focused at plant and process engineering, safety and environmental compliance, material handling and process automation. Our operation is based in Columbus, Ohio and is housed on a five acre complex with over 48,000 square feet under roof.
DeFabCo provides high performance CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) filling station installation. Our staff is available to work closely with your team throughout the entire project - from design and manufacturing through commissioning - to ensure that your installation meets all necessary safety and industry regulations.
For over 40 years, DeFabCo has been fabricating custom industrial ventilation equipment. Our ventilation equipment has been used for applications ranging from dust control in painting, milling, or food processing facilities, maintaining air quality in cleanrooms and laboratories, to ventilating industrial kitchens.
Do you need precision stamped drawings? Assistance coordinating the multitude of regulatory and government inspections required before commissioning your equipment? DeFabCo offers turnkey project design and management services that will provide your team with assistance from the initial product design through commissioning of your equipment.
DeFabCo, Inc. offers expert millwright services, providing on-site fabrication, assembly, and installation, and equipment rigging and transportation. Our turnkey fabrication services do not end when your equipment is manufactured at our facility. We provide transportation and rigging services to move your large and oversize equipment to your facility and expert on-site installation services.

I've been a customer of DeFabCo's since the early 80's and have had nothing but great experiences with this firm. They have bent over backwards to provide service, often doing things not in their standard service offerings in order to help us out, like sending trucks to pick up emergency parts all over the state of Ohio, storing partially completed equipment for us from a company that went bankrupt and then doing final assembly of the system based on the original design drawings. They have gone as far as Arizona a few times to replicate jobs that they did here in Columbus because the workmanship

I worked here for several years almost 30 years ago, I went to work for several competitors for 25 years. I had an opportunity to come back here 4 years ago as a project manager/estimator. The bulk of the workforce here today is the same group from 30 years ago. That should tell you a lot as to the kind of company It is. Great ownership/management team. This is a great company to work for. Very skilled craftsmen in shop and field and a great place for new fabricators to gain some

I am not reviewing the quality of the work preformed here, more the horrible culture and hostility at this organization. I had the misfortune of doing business with these people not long ago, and my experience was awful. I've witnessed the small town mob mentality of the people who gang up on others, push people out and create a toxic environment that is unbearable. Surprise, these same people are still there. You will only fit in there if you too have that small town white trash mob mentality. If you don't, they will attempt to make your life miserable. Beware this warning.
