Writing for my aunt kelly Underhill. First of all unprofessional the assistant fainted during my procedure. Then they danced around about the amount of the bill. After the procedure I went to go pay. I asked the front desk how much I owe and she said $300. I said wow that was painless. I made a payment of $150. Later that week I received a bill for $1,400. I was kind of surprised that she didn’t say anything when I asked how much I owe. I also noticed that they didn’t bill my insurance after they said they did because it was “elective” but I was in pain so I don’t know why it’s considered

I went to this dermatologist practice to get my birth control renewed and to discuss my acne issues. This last time I went, I mentioned a mole that I would like removed, but only if my insurance covered it. I basically got the “yeah, it should” response. Now I just received a $150 dollar bill, because they put it down as surgical and my insurance has a Surgical Copay of $150. I’m upset with the practice, because prior to doing something elective and unnecessary, they should have looked and told me that I would be responsible for $150 instead of it being a surprise two weeks down the line

Dr. Gina Brown was an amazing doctor but unfortunately the manager Rob was a terrible person. He was disrespectful and does not have empathy towards patients. He refuses to work with patients on a payment plan on their bill regardless of their financial hardship. He is very quick to threaten collections on patients who have only received one statement and are no where near the point of being sent to collections.

I visited Dr. Gina Brown for my first time this last Friday. All I can say is I'm blown away about how cared for I felt my first visit. I've been struggling with acne for a long time and have been having a hard time searching for someone that will actually listen to me and give me real solutions rather than throw antibiotics/creams at me and hope for the best. I am excited to continue my care here and trust that I am in good hands.

Had allergy testing. 3 different visits literally saw Dr. Gina Brown for 3 to 4 minutes on last visit. She walked out and was supposed fo check on something and comeback and talk to me. Did not bother. I had to go to work so left and called to get answers. I had positive test and in my 3 to 4 min conversation I was handed a leaflet and advised to google ingredients. I am ok with that but I have an autoimmune disease and was not given any opportunity to discuss options. Went there because of 5 star review. I am not so sure this is a 5 star office. I am sure my insurance will be charged thousands

This was my first visit. I felt COVID safe with the precautions they have in place. The exam was thorough and Dr. Brown explanation of the diagnosis was clear. She took time to answer questions. Her assistant, Robin, was very helpful with information about the prescribed medication and how to apply it. Thank you to Dr. Brown and her staff.

Several of our family members see Dr. Gina Brown, and with my husband's medical background, we are very impressed with her knowledge of dermatology. Our family is also very pleased with her excellent "bedside manner." She cares about her patients, always has a smile, and never makes you feel rushed. She is especially good at helping children and teenagers feel comfortable in the office setting.

So thankful for Dr. Brown helping our son with his eczema. We were already on a plan, but with the winter starting and the stubborn spots not clearing completely, she added a stronger medicine to use when we had to. Thank you Alaska Family Dermatology for getting us in as soon as possible to help my worries!

If you would like to go to an environment that treats you as if you are incompetent and as if you can not afford to be seen this is the place for you! My husband went to this horrible establishment today and was treated badly by none other than the owner. As a business owner myself, I must say that I was disgusted by the phone interaction that I had with this BOY owner as well. For starters, there was a mix up with the insurance which was not caught before the visit. Most doctors offices.. matter of fact... EVERY office I have been to checks to make sure that everything is good with your insurance
