Anchorage Dermatology & Cosmetics is a medical practice focused on serving the dermatological needs of the community. Our aim is to not only provide great care for your hair, skin, and nail health, but to also give you confidence in your skin's appearance. We accomplish this by providing medical services for serious dermatological issues as well as cosmetic therapies and treatments.
Courtney Bagayoko MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist in Anchorage, Alaska. She has lived in Anchorage for 2 years. She is the founder and owner of Anchorage Dermatology & Cosmetics, LLC. She completed medical school at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her dermatology training at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
When it comes to potential new patients, our goal is to get you in front of one of our doctors as quickly and as painlessly as possible. The process begins the second you get in contact with one of our office staff members. They will help you to find a suitable time and date for your first appointment, with a focus on getting you in as soon as possible.
Actinic keratosis is a skin disorder where crusty, rough patches appear on the skin due to years of sun exposure, which can also be the first presentation of skin cancer. Actinic keratosis mostly presents in patients over the age of 40, but can also occur in younger patients who live in a sunny environment year round.

They are the best! Roy Howard is absolutely amazing and knowledgeable! He answered all my questions and it was extremely informative. He knows his stuff! Dr. Bagayoko is an excellent provider. My wife and I appreciate her attention to detail and punctuality. Prescriptions are called in quickly and phone calls are returned promptly. The doctor always takes the time to answer all our questions. The practice is professional and also friendly. We love it here!

The assistants are amazing and they're all are super nice and the doctor is very responsive and super sweet anything that you ask she will do for you. I asked for her to give me a different medication that wasn't so expensive and she did it right on the spot super satisfied with all of the work that she has done for me. Got one of my moles removed off of my face took less than 5 minutes not painful at all, great results. She is super sweet and funny and relatable. About 9 months ago I went there to see my dermatologist and I had mentioned wanting some fillers. He highly recommended Dr Bagayoko. As I was checking out, I asked the lady out front if I could schedule a consult. She says that she charges $250.00 for a consult.....but I would get some money knocked off that if I went through with the service at the time of the consult. I could tell she was embarrassed to even say that to me. I said that’s ridiculous and that isn’t going to fly well with Alaskans. I LOVE Dr. Bagayoko. I started seeing her shortly after I moved to the state about 6 months ago for hair loss. She was straight forward and honest about over the counter products and what worked and what didn’t. She put me on a regiment and I have already started to see a dramatic difference in just 2 months. I have moved on to other skin issues such as in grown hairs and rosacea and she has been just as accommodating. The staff is very nice and scheduling is easy. I HIGHLY recommend especially for people of color!

I am extremely happy with my professional care and microneedling results from Dr. Courtney Bagayoko. My sister and I went to an appointment with my daughter seeking care for issues with acne and dark spots. My daughter is very shy, and Dr. Bagayoko made her feel very at ease. She was very personable, and took time to address everyone in the room. She has very good bedside manner, presented multiple options, and gave my daughter the space she needed to decide which option would work best for her. The staff is very friendly and everyone made sure I was comfortable the moment I stepped into the office. I did not wait very long at all to be taken into the examination room, and Dr. Bagayoko arrived very shortly after that. Dr. Bagayoko is an amazing doctor. I have suffered from eczema my entire life. And finely at the age of 31 I met Dr. Bagayoko. She took the time to listen to everything I had to say and how I struggled with doctors not taking me seriously and prescribing the same medications over and over again. She found the right medication for me and my skin is the best it has ever been!!! I am so lucky I had Dr Bagayoko come into my life, I can not thank her enough!
