Our staff and opticians are thoroughly trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of the optical field, including selecting frames that best suit the patient's face and style, recommending the appropriate lens and lens options, repairing eye glasses and sunglasses, and fabricating spectacles in plastic, metal, and rimless frames.

Ortho-K is a process where the patient wheres specialized contact lenses while they sleep. These contacts gently reshape the eye temporarily, allowing the patient to go glasses and contact lens free during the day time. The contacts are specially designed based on a digital map of your eye which allows for an exact fit.

Diabetes is a risk factor for developing glaucoma, as well as for developing cataracts, but the most common and debilitating vision problem experienced by diabetics is diabetic retinopathy.
There are two types of health insurance that may provide benefits to help you pay for your eye care services and products. Our practice accepts plans from many providers for both vision and medical. Vision Care Plans have benefits that cover routine eye exams as well as eyeglasses or contact lenses.

Doctor Haugen is on of the kindest people I’ve met and Dr Cullum made me feel extremely comfortable at my appointment. I’ve never had my eyes dial ages before and yep...I was scared 🤣. It all turned out okay 👌. The office is gorgeous and clean. I love how they’ve done a great job to help revitalize an old building downtown!

This was my first time here. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile and good morning, the receptionist sent me to the appropriate area. I met Dr. Cullum, which did a great job during my visit and made sure I was comfortable. I got a call a week later to pick up my glasses which I love. I have since switched all my stuff over to Northridge Eye Care. You won't be disappointed!

I have to say I have never used this business. But from hearing what I have heard from family members who have, this is an amazing place. Dr. Haugen is knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. The staff is very welcoming and caring. I know Dr. Haugen and his wife personally and they are some of the best people around. They help and support the community and take part on community events. When the time comes for my eye exam I know where I am headed.

I have been seeing Dr Haugen for 4 years now, greatest guy I know, but he's not even the half of it! His staff are the best!! Always happy, with a smile, I like to joke around and laugh and joke with me😀. I would recommend Northridge Eye Center to everyone, and I have. Just remembered, bring someone to drive you home and your sunglasses, you will need them after they dialate your eyes.

I have to give a five star rating to Northridge Eye Center. What a great place to get your eyes checked! I was fortunate enough to have an appointment with Dr. Haugen. I got to tell you he really knows his stuff. It was great to have someone explain things to me, give me guidance, and really focus on my eye situation. I was pleased with the level of service and the kindness of the staff. A great experience from start to finish.

Dr Haugen and his staff are amazing. My husband Vic is in the middle of cataract surgery. He has had the right eye done and left eye next. He was sent to this office from the VA in Redding. From the start of this procedure to now it has been a wonderful experience. Anytime something is done to the eye it is very unnerving! Dr Haugen and every staff memember went out of their way to make it easier and that we would understand everything that is going to happen and is happening! Even the Day Surgery center was amazing! We also feel we could call anytime and ask any question. Thank you Dr. Haugen

I love this office. I was greeted by the friendly staff up front right when I walked in. The doctors were great and informative too. I had not been into the eye doctor for many years. I have worn glasses since I was 5 years old and then went to contacts. I finally got the point where I quit wearing glasses and contacts thought my vision had improved. When I had my exam with Dr. Merry he suggested that I get a pair of glasses for driving in the evening and just when I felt like I needed them.
