Lee Andrew Purtty of Pleasanton, California was appointed as Board President of Holistic Healing Behavioral Healthcare in 2020. Lee's compassion to serve others has offered him the opportunity to give back to the community. He has volunteered in various capacities of community outreach to marginalized populations.
The American health care system in beset with inequalities that have a disproportionate impact on people of color and other marginalized groups. These inequalities contribute to gaps in health insurance coverage, uneven access to services, and poorer health outcomes among these populations. African Americans bear the brunt of these healthcare challenges.

HHBH Peer Support Services program provides an opportunity for recovering individuals who have achieved significant abstinence to assist others in their recovery journeys. HHBH Peer Mentors model recovery, teach skills and offer supports to help people experiencing mental health challenges lead meaningful lives in the community.
Family Therapy works well with small children and teens and is one of our healing points for the individual and family. Communication and connection is primary. In the Black family A positive positive self image, and secure relationship with parents, aunts and uncles is the number one protective factor against mental health issues, academic problems, and drug and alcohol issues.
