Conversely, Financial Navigators was founded in 1996 as a consulting firm, with the solitary goal of helping people.

It's as simple as that. We help people. We help them to learn and grow, budget and save, all while trying to maneuver life's unforeseen challenges and successes. We recognize that everyone has a story that is unique and their "financial plan" should also be unique. Our consulting engagements with employers provide one-on-one financial planning services for the employees of our corporate clients.

Let's face it, this is a confusing field and unless you have the time to read volumes of data it is likely that your understanding of financial planning is about the same as our understanding of your field of study.We make a concerted effort to explain your financial position, and what we both need to do to bring your plan to a successful conclusion, all while enjoying a collaborative relationship.
First, we start with a Comprehensive Financial Plan. This is the dog that wags the tail. We feel that many investment advisors spend too much time focusing on the investments and too little time focusing on your goals, and the best path to meet those goals. Once we determine your path, our ongoing mantra is high service, Fee-Only, Asset Allocation, and Diversification.
The term "financial planning" is a broad one. A typical financial plan is a lengthy process of collecting data, massaging it and modifying it as life changes. Under this Financial Planner/Employer relationship, these services could be defined as "focused financial planning" that address only the financial topics of interest to your employee.
We operate primarily in New England and are currently licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. We have clients throughout the US and will add licenses to other states as mandated by registration requirements. Our business address is in Massachusetts and our employees work from their homes in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York.
