Karen Albright is the owner of BodyLase, a medical spa with two locations in the Triangle. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and University of Connecticut School of Law. After practicing law with a large firm in Connecticut for several years, Karen moved to Raleigh in 1994 with her husband and children.

Bodylase is THE premier med spa. I now live out of town but travel a few times a year to go to
Bodylase because no other med spa has come close. Every time I have tried another med spa, I have been disappointed. I don’t trust anywhere else with my face or body at this point. The facility is beautiful and every person I have seen there from NPs for injections to estheticians for other services has been outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about this place!!

I had the most relaxing and professional experience at Bodylase! I never leave reviews but I was impressed with the high level of service start to finish. All the staff were so friendly and personable, they made me feel taken care of. I was pampered with awesome products and a comfy robe, they even had hair ties and headbands since I forgot mine. Everyone was wonderful and the facility is gorgeous. So glad my friend referred me, I’ll definitely be back!

BodyLase Skin Spa is certainly the place to go for all your skincare needs. I've been a client for years, and was delightfully surprised when my husband decided to pay them a visit. He's in his early 60s, and not fussy about skincare in the least, but was bothered by a little neck waddle under his chin. He met with Rhonda, who recommended some Botox (in his neck!) plus Ultherapy, and the results are amazing. He looks 10 years younger, and I'm definitely going to get this procedure when the time comes for me!

I’ve been going to Bodylase for 3 years now and it has completely transformed my skin. I received both Botox and filler from Mel last week, and she was AMAZING!!!!!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars! She is extremely professional, sooo sweet, patient, gentle, and most importantly, an incredibly talented injector! I hadn't done filler before, so I was pretty nervous, but Mel talked me through the whole thing and made me feel so at ease! I really appreciated how she explained the product that she was going to use, and exactly where and how she would inject the product. It's been almost one week, and I am SO happy with my results!! Also, the BodyLase med spa is beautiful

I recently had my first botox experience, so I was very nervous going into my appointment and didn't know what to expect. The spa itself is exceptionally clean and classy with it's decor. The team clearly took proper precautions and I felt very safe. Melanie was able to ease my nerves and was clearly very knowledgeable in her craft. Such a great place - I went for numerous laser hair removal treatments and it doesn't get better than BodyLase Cary (believe me, I've had other laser appointments in Austin, Chicago, Boston, and New York). Always super professional, communicative, hygienic, and efficient. The machine they use is top-of-the-line and minimizes the pain. Results are amazing. Highly recommend!

The team at BodyLase Cary is top-notch. My consultant, Rita has been amazing. She ensures that I have what I need, when I need it, without any oversell or hype to keep my skin in good shape. The whole team ensures that you're comfortable from the minute you walk in the door. Recently moved from Boston and was receiving hydrafacials there frequently with my esthetician who I loved. I was hoping to love BodyLase based off the reviews but unfortunately don't think this will be my go to spot. Prices are very high compared to what I was paying in Boston for the enhanced services I was receiving there (hydrafacial+dermaplanning+extractions). Felt pressured into buying additional products when I left as well..I asked if they had samples since some of the products were $100+. I've visited twice and have had fantastic experiences! Liestey is wonderful. She listened to my concerns the first time I went in and answered all of my questions. Before treatment, she was sure to be clear on the result I was hoping for and only treated me for what I asked - I can't begin to express how appreciative I am! Often it seems that skincare businesses go right for the upsell, and I can understand why, but it made me so much comfortable to not be put in that situation. I LOVE BodyLase! The staff is always so patient with me and I receive so much information about skincare. Since coming here I feel like I have had a huge transformation In my appearance. I've been seeing Grace for over 2 years for my Botox and juvederm fillers and I would never let anyone else touch my face! She's incredibly thorough and her work is impeccable. After moving from Denver I was anxious walking into a new spa but Grace immediately put all my fears and anxiety to rest. She has extensive experience and she's a total professional. She's genuine and so down to earth she's the type of individual you would make an appointment with just to talk to! This place over the years is my goal to place, all the ladies there are wonderful friendly and on time. They know what they are doing and never do more than needed. They look out for you well being and give you the results you want. I was seen Thursday evening and was short notice and it was still top notch treatment. The new location is fantastic. In December I will be back. I wanted a treatment that I may have had that day but she advised me that there was a special in December and she could put me on the list. I live in knightdale but I would rather come here than anywhere else!

When you spend over a thousand dollars in a place over a two month span, and then discuss a minor concern with one of the consultants that would take approximately 3 seconds to be corrected (seriously 1 laser zap) only to be ignored, given the run around, told to buy yet another full treatment, and talked down to, you know this just isn't the place to you. I hope no one else is left feeling like this after visiting Body Lase, because it's a lousy feeling. I've been visiting med spas for 15 years now, and have always felt valued. Not this time.

I just started laser hair removal with Kelly! I am so happy with everything. The cooling laser they have in Cary is awesome because it made the whole process pretty much pain free. I wish they would get the same machine for the Raleigh office. It would be so much more convenient for me. If you are interested in laser hair removal or anything else I would definitely recommend you check body made out and ask for Kelly!
