NeuStart Psychiatry strives to provide services to all ages. We specialize in the revolutionary and medication-free outpatient psychiatry treatment known as TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). TMS is used to treat depression and Obsessive Compulsive (OCD) disorders and is being researched to treat other psychiatric disorders and has shown upcoming promise as an addictions treatment.
The great news is that you have options beyond medication. The two main ways of treating TRD are Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), which requires a patient to be placed under anesthesia before shocking the brain to stimulate the mood center, or our preferred method, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
