At your consultation appointment, Dr. Weiler will discuss customized treatment options and recommend the treatment best-suited to your needs and desires. His objectives for each patient are to straighten the teeth and harmonize the bite as quickly and efficiently as possible. In many cases, Invisalign checks all three of those boxes, but in some cases braces are necessary.
A major benefit of receiving orthodontic treatment in childhood is that it's possible to take full advantage of a youngster's own natural growth process to treat or even prevent malocclusions ("bad bites"). A palatal expander is a device designed to help us do that. Palatal expanders create more space in a child's mouth by gradually widening the upper jaw.
Orthodontists are dental specialists who diagnose and treat problems with the position, alignment or spacing of the teeth, and related irregularities in the face and the jaw. We use a number of special treatments, including braces and other oral appliances, to correct these problems. There are two good reasons: aesthetics and function.

I’ve been turned away by many offices in the Harrisonburg area to help straighten my teeth, but doctor Weiler and his office did not. Him and his team guided me through every step. I was not someone who could pay for braces straight out and they never let that hinder me. They gave me an option of a payment plan. Over the years, they have treated me as of one of their own. I’m so sad that I won’t be able to see the faces that fill this place anymore, but happy I get to feel confident in my smile. If you looking for someone who takes that extra without even asking, then this the orthodontist

My daughter had a great experience with her braces. The staff is kind and informed us during her treatment. I also had Invisalign to fix my teeth that had shifted and I’m satisfied with the results. We both have beautiful smiles after treatment. Would recommend to anyone looking for an orthodontist.

Amazing staff and amazing service. My daughter had extensive work completed. I'm talking surgeries, exposures, a smile that we weren't sure would ever be straight. I'm proud to say that she has one of the straightest (and most importantly HEALTHIEST) smiles I've been blessed to see. Dr. Weiler, Jessie and staff were caring beyond belief- always gracious, patient and kind. The front desk staff with Breanna- super helpful and willing to work with you. I simply cannot recommend this place enough!

Within a few months of starting my treatment with Dr. Weiler and his staff, I wanted to write a review because of how kind, professional, and friendly they were. However, I decided to wait until treatment was over and I am happy I did because now I can add how happy I am with the results. As an adult, getting braces felt very intimidating but Dr. Weiler and his team were lovely and made me feel so comfortable. The 200+ great reviews speak for themselves!

I never actually realized or cared that much about how my teeth looked. I didn't realize how out of line my teeth were, but now that I know better (just completed my treatment) it's a huge difference and I'm really happy about it. I realize now that I've never known what a correct bite should feel like!

We had a great experience at Weiler Orthodontics! The staff is very friendly and personable from the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave. The office is modern and inviting.
