Having toured several Meadowlark homes, we always say "you can tell a Meadowlark house." They all somehow have the same feeling of well crafted, unique, thoughtful, innovative, comfortable. Working with the Meadowlark team was a great experience. From the get go we felt important and listened to. The designers were intuitive, helpful and creative. The construction crew members were careful, pleasant and kept us informed of the process and the progress. We love what they built for us, and would definitely use them again.

This is a perfect example of how a business should be run. I was having an issue for years with HEAT loss in my vaulted ceiling due to little or no insulation. Contacted 3 different roofers in my area with no help except wanting to put a new roof on my house. Started researching on the internet and came across Meadowlark Design + Build. I Watched a video by Doug Selby. I was hesitant at first to make a call with them being 800 miles away. But I gave it a shot and Doug himself called me back. He listened to my problem and questions and explained how his system could help me. I am extremely thankful

Having heard many accolades of the fine work of Meadowlark, my husband and I decided to choose Meadowlark for the redesign and expansion of our deck. We couldn't have been more pleased. To begin, we were inspired in our design consultations with Melissa, followed by our recognition of the highly skilled and responsive carpentry work of Randi and Michael, and ending with our appreciation of the everyday email updates from Rob coupled with his oversight of the entire deck renovation. You can expect high-level project coordination and execution from Meadowlark Design+Build. You can also expect them to listen to their clients, remember issues and follow up to completion. These behaviors might sound standard for any worthy building contractor, but many clients underestimate the multiple layers of complexity in a large project that can lead to disappointing results if experienced professionals are not running the show. I was especially impressed with the on-site project coordinator, who always carefully addressed my concerns. Meadowlark is probably the first address to visit if

Meadowlark repaired some faulty trim on our house (trim was from a different builder). They were meticulous is going over every place where there was trim. They then used a much better product to replace the bad trim. They also replaced a window and door wall, again paying attention to every detail. We are extremely pleased with the quality of their work.

I would also be happy to provide a copy of the police report investigating Meadowlark for fraud, the State of Michigan LARA report which resulted in them paying a fine, and the DTE report finding that there are multiple hollow external walls in my house and that only one room in my entire house was properly insulated. Have fun trying to fire them for cause and getting sued by them when you do.

My husband and I used Meadowlark to do a complete remodel and addition to our home in 2007-2008. We could not be happier with Meadowlark and our home. Even 8 years later there is nothing we'd have done differently and still consider the meadowlark crew our friends.

In 2012 Meadowlark performed energy efficiency testing for us and they expertly insulated our attic and sealed our home. When planning our home's 2015 exterior remodel they were the only company we contacted. This remodel included new siding, soffits, gutters and downspouts, renovation of the front porch, addition of insulation to specific walls as well as several small updates to our home's interior. Design Manager Melissa Kennedy carefully listened to our wants and worked through our project wish list with us. She and her team turned our high level preferences into the colors, patterns

The best builders/remodelers in town! They did a first floor renovation that included a custom kitchen. We love it--they packed as much as possible in the existing footprint and the result is fabulous!! Everyone was very professional and it was a pleasure to see a project come in on time and within the budget! We highly recommend the folks at Meadowlark!!
