I was recently in a very bad accident and sadly my truck was totaled.I had moved my previous truck loan to radiant for a better interest rate.Josh and his staff went above and beyond to help me secure a new truck for my Patriot service dog Freedom and I .I was recovering from injuries received in the accident and was very overwhelmed but they helped to make the process easy to navigate.I highly recommend Radiant Credit Union.

I have been with SUNSTATE since college in the 1980s,never an issue, always helpful, always responsive. Those days are over folks. I had fradulent activity on my card, cancelled it over the phone. I went in the bank IN PERSON and ordered a new card. It will take 7-10 days which is very inconvenient. I wait 10 days, no card. I call and get a customer service rep (not local) who says the reason I did not get the card is because IT WAS NEVER ORDERED AND THERE ARE NO NOTES OF MY VISIT. I talk to the local branch manager Caleb who apologizes but cannot do anything, cannot expedite the card, cannot

Since they have change over to the new Radiant name, I have consistently had issues. They randomly locked my card had to make several phone calls and then 3 days later it a as fixed. They tbey locked my online access through their app and now it's a holiday weekend and I have been able to get in touch with anyone to help. So if there is any issue what so ever keep during the week between the hours of 9-4, because there is ZERO customer service available. Its sad because I loved Sunstate before.

They are liars, tell you anything to sign up then do the opposite, example if you are a member 90 days you don't have to wait when you deposit check. We have waited multiple times and we have been a member for over year they keep trying to hold checks. Today I went to deposit a $7000 from a huge RV dealer and they told me because it was in my name and my boyfriend said it was a third-party check and they would charge me a fee besides having to wait, this is highway robbery, I would not recommend this Credit union to anyone, if it was not the only bank in town I would have stopped doing business

Super helpful staff at our local Jonesville Office. UNFORTUNATELY really poor after hours customer service, as in:
if it is not M-F/9-5 when you need to resolve an issue, you are out of luck. There are no options. None. Zero. Nobody is available online, on the phone, or in any bank office.
I find this ludicrous in an age when many, many, many! of us bank from home at our convenience and that means evenings and weekends.

Their customer service is well below par. If you need help with anything that does not involve a teller, you have to "sign-in" on a piece of paper and just wait there for someone to come look at it. I've been banking at credit unions in another state for over a decade, due to the high quality service I usually receive. It seems that SunState does not hold the same priorities. Even when I've literally been the only customer in the entire building, I've had to wait over 15 minutes just to talk with someone. On top of that, even though I only use it for a savings account,

Best place in town for loans, checking etc. Debra and the rest of the staff at the Archer Rd branch have been so incredibly helpful. I had been with a different credit union for over 20 years and they treated me like a number. I am in the process of moving all my banking to Sunstate (checking, savings and auto loans).

Go elsewhere. There are a couple of really efficient and customer friendly credit unions here and around Gainesville. Avoid this one.
I was making regular payments to my Sunstate account and they credited my payments to the wrong account. After several calls I finally got it straight but not with any intuitive help from their collections department. Then they had the nerve to submit a lousy review of my account to the credit bureaus in an attempt to ruin my credit.
My personal banker, Jonathan, left them and it seems that the commitment to customer service has again gone in the tank.

Once again SunState Federal Credit Union has won me back to a 5 star rating! I went in to arrange financing for a car for my wife and the process was easier than I expected, especially since the purchase was through a private seller. Ryan Peeples was very knowledgeable and helpful, my expectations were exceeded rather than met. Meeting expectations is a recipe for disaster in my opinion, I wish more businesses could grasp that concept as well as under promise & over deliver. Banks have always intimidated me, and my track record with them hasn't been pleasant. I just couldn't adjust to fees for everything they did for my account.. Prior to Sunstate I had considered Bed-banking, because that's how discouraged I was with traditional banks. They're just not small-account friendly.
